Apologies for the inconvenience.
A batch of the first pressing has some unintentional surface noise.
The TPs were fine, so we're trying to track down the problem.
If you have a hissy LP, return to the shop and they can return it to the distributor.
Also, we would appreciate it if you could pm us and let us know where you bought you're faulty copy.
Sorry again.

Just got mine from SOTU. Sounded cool in the shop but the first track on the flip to archangel is fucked for the first half. The whole fuzz in the right channel thing that has been mentioned.

Got the same problem as other people on here, I've had a history of things being buggered and sending back and just getting the same problem, so was just wondering if people who have returned have got an improved copy... Ordered mine off normanrecords.

Same here, but I'm going to have another listen at it on headphones. Don't think I've got dodgy sound though. Also recorded it over Line-In in order to listen to it on my iPod which sounds fine as well.
Edit: Sounds good to me. What does this hiss actually sound like and how loud is it?

i got in touch with boomkat and they had copies all from the same batch as mine (which was hissy) and said they'd listened to them all and they were ok so looks like its not the whole batch thats fooked, just a lucky few

It's like this looping, scratching kind of noise. Compare it to the CD version on headphones, you'll definitely notice what isn't supposed to be there. It seems to only be the A and B sides.

I think mine is frocked as well - all though it's hard to tell with the overall sound of the album - but it's defo on the right side so I guess mine is gonna have to be swapped.
Shame for hyperdub and all of us who got the wrong uns'

looks like the printers just took the CD art and put it on the back of the LP cover.
probably worth keeping ur hands on it as a collectors item.
love this album so much, played a large chunk of it on a nice 10K system on the weekend...sounded lovely....people were feeling.
bigup hyperdub everytime

I think I'm retarded... Can't distinguish between tracks now. I've got the LP and on the back of the cover it shows this tracklist:
1. (Untitled)
2. Archangel
3. Near Dark
4. Ghost Hardware
5. Endorphin
6. Etched Headplate
7. In McDonalds
8. Untrue
9. Shell of Light
10. Dog Shelter
11. Homeless
12. UK
13. Raver
Total: 13 Tracks
On the vinyl:
A1 Raver
A2 Etched Headplate
B1 Homeless
B2 Shell of Light
C1 Untrue
C2 UK
C3 Endorphin
D1 Archangel
D2 Near Dark
Total: 9 Tracks
What the heck? I know there's something wrong with the labeling, but do the tracks on the vinyl actually correspond to the track names on the printed label? Which way around are they wrong?
Thanks for shedding some light.
Have to listen to the CD Version to find that hiss sound, I still think I don't have it *phew*

Alright, I'll have a listen on the iTunes Store. Thanks!
