it's honestly fucking hilarious and ulbricht could have a lot of success with his appeal because those two dudes bungled it so hard
that article doesnt even begin to scratch the surface of what absolute morons those two were. at one point, one of them tried to blackmail DPR for 250k because he thought he discovered his identity, a 300 pound libertarian blogger from india.
one of the guys was also behind seizing mt. gox's bank account (the exchange) after mark karpeles (exchange owner) refused to pay him off ("partner with him") http://imgur.com/a/ecQ5T (last email on 5/15/13 is the date the account was seized). the reason he was caught is also because he was too dumb to avoid the money laundering regulations he himself is supposed to enforce. one day this will all make a hell of a movie
