As one of the people whose been called out the most for the crap he's going on I feel like I'm in a relatively good position to negate it; only wish he'd stuck around but here goes.
Point: Newcomers to the forum were only actively shunned for being twats.
Evidence: Waveform anyone? I think we all, except Ehbs (is he still about? not seen anything from him), did a brilliant job in handling him tbh.
Explanation: I was the first to bite there, but my intention wasn't to drive him out so much as it was to remove his head from his anus. I think wouldn't be inappropriate to assume that everyone else was looking to do the same and would've gladly kept him about if he'd seemed like he was making the effort to take his head out of his anus.

Point: OP probably wasn't even actually about dubstep anyway/OP doesn't know how to use a calendar.

Explanation1: OP's just a bandwagonfag and a busybody who's more interested in shaming than reclaiming and shouldn't have considered themselves a part of any scene since they couldn't care about it more than some fucking self promo and having the most cut of edges.
Explanation2: Most people haven't been like that since 2009 and when they are now it's generally in a bout of nostalgia.

Point: OP has no idea what brings people to music forums in the first place/reinforcing the last 2 points.

Explanation1: What he calls "slag(ging) something off" is the means by which people express opinions. Through such expression, humans are more easily able to understand each other and as a consequence, forum users are able to benefit from knowing who the are and aren't like and consequentially who they do and don't like. This enables users to fulfil the intentions possessed upon sign-up; to be able to connect with other humans who appreciate dubstep music.
Explanation2 :OP is leaving because people on here aren't giving him enough likes on soundcloud or some shit

If people who were drawn to a scene that's experiencing an ebb (debatable) are still able to keep it's internet forum up and running by looking at and/or clicking on ads while the ratio of posts about the scene to posts about other stuff gets smaller and smaller, then it really isn't a bad thing.
