Haha ok, just he said there was some dark figure that used to move behind the shower curtain in the corner of the room, and would make this foul smell. Now knowing my mate i was just like "no, that's just your toilet" but he said it was something like sulphur and burnt wood.
Apparently he once saw the figure actually behind him in the mirror about 7 feet tall, completely black, like someone wearing a cloak or something. Reminds me of the line from the mothman prophesies (or the last track on the first burial album) when the guy talks about seeing something in the mirror that he knows was not his reflection.
They reckon someone died in there too. Kinda freaked myself out typing about the other ones cos the worst thing was they tended to show if you acknowledged they were there. Just have visions of my screen going blank and a face being there or some shit.

You lot all talking bout creepy fucked up shit made me think of the bad dreams i would have as a small kid, this 1 dream in particular brings tears to my eyes everytime i think about it, which aint much, tears are there now, its very strange and creepy, its not like im sad or upset hmmmmmmmm, i surpose because the dream caused me so much disstress as a kid that that could be the explenation, anyways the dream in particular dont envolve much but beleive me it was terrifing, i would think i was awake in my bed obviously still asleep in the dark then this kinda skeleton kinda thing floats through my window comes towards me and tries to take me, i cant move scream or anything, sometimes i manage a skream, n my dad would come in n the skeleton would go away, but this 1 time it fucking got me, couldnt move talk anythin just remember floating along in the dark then going in some cave scared as fuck then i wake up, then theres the dream i continuously had where the devil would be on the end of my bed, then 1 where my whole family turned against me while i was playin my sega master system in my living room with red evil eyes trying to kill me

, i had some horrible fucked up dreams, glad i very rarely have them now, think alot of it probly has something to do with me watching to many freddy movies and shit

fucked up thread.. my brother used to have nightmares that involved the grim reaper being after him and a few of their friends... they all had these dreams.. he would wake up with scrapes and scratches just like 8bits.. they ALL would. FREAKY SHIT. they called him "Grimmy"
I dont eat LSD any longer.. had some real ground breaking sessions with it... then one time it all went awry. I am not the same person... never will be.
Never talked to aliens tho.. just the air, jah know?

The solution: have a giant rave in the house, plenty of sub-bass. Both the massive amount of life and good energy in the room should dissipate whatever negative energy is in the house.
I have never believed in "life" after death, or whatever, but I went to this Poltergeist tour in Edinburgh this past weekend to try to prove myself wrong.
http://www.blackhart.uk.com/cotd/poltergeist/
Nothing happened that night, but it's probably the best documented one ever. I personally think it's up to the experiencer - if you're very afraid, chances are you'll experience something and your fear will become actualized in your own perception of reality.
I for one was not feeling this slightest bit afraid throughout the entire tour, and we stood in that tomb for 10 minutes, ended by a hired "jumper outer" with a mask on who yelled at us. I believe these people know that when youre afraid something is going to happen, then maybe it will. Throughout the whole tour up to the visit to the tomb the tour guide was trying to develop fear and was constantly "scaring" the girls on the tour by surprising them or whatever, making them scream and such. She also REPEATEDLY told us stories about what other visitors had experienced, sometimes the same stories over and over again, trying to generate fear in us. They said that fear generates pheromones that "the entity" will prey on.
The thing is when you're afriad or paranoid, you're much MUCH more likely to mistake something normal for something strange, and your perception of reality can shift and become completely twisted, because ultimately its all what you believe.
I strongly believe nothing happened that night because deep in my heart I knew nothing was really there. I'll go back there too.

However the only thing that interests me about your story are the physical marks on your back. Do they hurt? Please provide more accurate pictures as they are the only transferrable proof.

I've been on that very same ghost tour, and nothing happened to me either. Creepy as fuck though, they do it really well. I'm pretty agnostic about the whole ghost thing, and a total horror movie junkie, so I thought it would take an actual ghost sighting to scare me. But the whole atmosphere in Greyfriar's graveyard had me bricking it. The bird developed a scar across her back after it, but I never got a photo of it, and it was pretty small and shit compared to 8bit's photos at the start of this thread. I was pretty skeptical about it.
Anyway, 8bit, if you can't hear the voices with earplugs in, then there's actual sound there. You don't need any of that EVP shit (which I'm also pretty skeptical about), just hook up a cheap PC microphone and leave it recording overnight. I'd love to hear/sample it

i think i believe in some of this. however i find the whole concept of sleep paralysis more scary, as this is something nearly everyone has experienced, it's like some freddy kruger shit. saying that though, i once had a bit of a poltergeist problem at my old dear's house. I just rinsed out source direct's "exorcise the demons" really loud and it soon fucked off back to its own realm

I get sleep paralysis / night terrors really bad, ever since like puberty. Mad shit. I love it actually. It's happened for so long now that I know it's not real. Sometimes I can even get a bit of
lucidity during them.
Great album btw.

I have sleep issues sometimes
