Dreams can help us diagnose health problems, encourage us in the decisions we make, or reprimand us for negative behavior in our relationships. They can be instructive and practical, lighthearted fun or spiritually uplifting, depending on what we need most at a given time. Even major life issues are addressed in dreams; in fact, according to Cayce, nothing of importance happens to us without it first having been foreshadowed in our dreams.

Although dreams often contain symbols of a universal or archetypical nature with similar meanings in diverse cultures, the Cayce readings stress the highly individual nature of dreams. It is frequently mentioned that we are our own best dream interpreter, even though outside feedback can certainly be valuable.

In order to begin using our dream insights fully, we need to be consistent in recording our dreams each day. Keeping a dream journal is very helpful. No matter how little we recall of a dream, it is important to write down any impression that comes to mind upon awakening. Next, we can look at the dream from different levels: job, health, interpersonal relationships, and any circumstance currently being dealt with in waking life.

Once a correlation has been made to an actual situation, the dreamer may decide upon a course of action in order to make use of the dream insight. Perhaps a change in attitude is required, or maybe circumstances can be seen from a new perspective and the individual decides to take a different approach to the issue. Once the dreamer arrives at a basic understanding of the dream and takes some action based on that information, then a growth process begins which allows the dreamer to reach a deeper and clearer level of insight from which to proceed.

The other day I was listenin to the Burial album at my mates house and that night I had Burial beats goin round and round in my head while I slept.

I quite often have dreams where all my teeth fall out and I can feel the pain of it, and have dreams where I'm at the top of something really tall and fall off sometimes. :o

Nice one, sharp read Parsons :!:

Bit of a read but.

Your Ex

To dream about your ex-boyfriend/girlfriend or ex-husband/wife or that you and your ex got back together again, suggests that something or someone in your current life that is bringing out similar feelings you felt during the relationship with your ex. The dream may be a way of alerting you to the same or similar behavior in a current relationship. What you learn from that previous relationship may need to be applied to the present one so that you do no repeat the same mistake. Alternatively, past lovers often highlight the positive experiences you had with that person.

In particular, to see your ex-husband/wife in your dream, indicates that you are finding yourself in a situation that you do not want to be in. It suggests that you are experiencing a similar relationship or situation which makes you feel unhappy and uncomfortable.

To see your mate's ex in your dream, suggests that you may be comparing yourself to the ex. The dream is trying to tell you not to make the same relationship mistakes that ended that relationship.

Alternatively, seeing your ex in your dream also signifies aspects of yourself that you have x'd out or neglected.

the dream i had this morning was a wierd one but i guess it was too do with the fact i was watching Die Hard 2 before i went to sleep.

but i dreamt i was on a large plane with a whole load of dubsteppers (tune intergalactic-beasty boys) and we where all traveling to New York. I didn't do much but steer out the window the whole time. surprisingly though there was nothing to see. Whatever the case i always got the feeling that the plane was falling through the sky. That feeling you get when a plane is descending. but i could never confirm this. The only time something became clear... was when i looked out the window, and saw we where over a city flying close to some sort of tower, i remember reading the word hera on its spire and thinking the queen of the god's. After that point i no longer the sense we were descending. Not to longer.. i then found my self in a shop, as if we stoped to re fuel or something... maybe i was going somewhere further then new york... but i remember there was some hershy chocolate bars 3for $1.15, they where plain chocolate but i remember it saying they were covered in sprinkles. I thought cool, and then searched for the cookie and cream chocolate bar and picked up 4 of those. i remember looking at the stack of 7 bars of chocolate. Then reality kicked in. And i woke up.

sucked. i woke up about 3 times throughout the night hoping id dream something else each time i fell back to sleep but nah....it was like one giant dream with 3 intermissions....ill recap it. i dont rmemeber EVERYTHING. but whatever..

current boyfriend was out with me and my friend joey. and the regulars. i was at a table chattin it up with joey and looked over at BF at the bar ordering something. this chick walks up to him and puts her arm like slides it around his back and he turned around like.."oh well hello" and totaly kissed her...i flipped my lid and started crying....then BAM woke up...freaking out.

round 2 was receiving this letter in the mail later that night, (yeah dont ask...i know mail wouldnt take like 3 hours to receive...) and it was a letter from BF saying stuff about how he didnt wanna tell me this way, but stuff has been shaky lately and hes mad that i have been so stressed and in a rut. blah blah blah...then BAM woke up again.

round 3....was staying at this hotel(realized we must have been on vacation cause we were on some kind of tropical beachy area) and got this package of this whole little letter but typed out from BF stating all this bullshit and basically making excuses as to why hes moved on...i got the feeling more of like..."lets take a break cause i wanna fuck other bitches and sleep around till you get your life back in order"....

i was well gutted all morning now. really really messed up moody dream. im sure no one wants to dream about your significant other cheating or basically saying he deosnt care about you as much as you care for him...

thinking its a replay of my last relationship though. cause he one dayjust texted me saying hes still in love with his ex and hes moved on and he slept with her and whatever....dunno if something present day made me feel like i felt way back when with the ex...interesting though. dreams freak me out a lot. :|
big up the donut crew!

i was standing around with some people i know. we were looking out over the city (san diego) and all of the sudden we saw large explosions in the sky. the city was being destroyed, and we were next. The creepy thing was that all the feelings were so vivid, it was as if i really was there. I remember feeling confused, and in a state of denial.

then when more explosions occured, closer to me this time, i realized that this was my last day on earth. I woke up with my heart beating out of my chest. I must be nervous about something - or it's precognition and we're all fucked :D
