my main problem with it, when i used to get dragged there on holiday up to the age of 17, was that there are NO music shops except some crappy chart cds that somerfield sold and the only radio station u can pick up there is radio 1

its a joke though, there's so many northern bastards that come to cornwall and have the cheek to call us backwards and so on. its like ok, if you don't like it, fuck off. but they keep coming.
there's not a lot to do in cornwall but calling it boring is over the top, only boring people get bored

oh right, didn't see that. it's a second home... but they're slowly doing it up to retire into. they hate london.

i do find complaining about having a second home pretty shit to be honest, most can't even afford a first home...

there are music shops you just have to know where to look. as for radio, we also get pasty fm (bbc radio cornwall) and a few others. who wants to listen to radio anyway?

there are no music shops in looe. they just dragged me down there with absolutely nothing to do and no company whatsoever, it's shit childhood memories, hence the hatred.

I quite like peace and quiet! I would of just gone to the middle of no where, sat down and enjoyed being somewhere other than home! Different people like different things though

oh i LOVE the middle of nowhere. but there was no middle of nowhere. it was tourist central. the closest i could get was my walkman and the bank of the river, a bit further up from all the busy fishing boats. if i just kept my eyes on the water i could pretend nobody else was there. i like being alone, but being an only child in a place u know nobody when your parents bugger off to do something inexplicably dull really makes u feel shit.

born outside san francisco, raised in portland oregon and transplanted to the norf-eastern seaboard. find nanticoke pennsylvania on the map. i dare you.

its actually quite nice to not be in a huge metro. nothing beats a short drive to the pennsylvania country-side. only real downside is that a lot of the kids get messed up on the wrong stuff
