those have a very unique sound.. used to see a guy on the subway in manhattan playing one pretty often

ive got a bent sa-2 and currently working on a pt-80, im planning on doing a similar thing to urself. a large patchbay/body contact panel with all the connections wired to it.

was considering mounting an old printer com port and so the external box would attach in a snazzy way :) its probably far far too fiddley tho.

i considered something similar, but i don't think i can solder small enough to get every pin without all hell breaking loose. i think i'm going to run all the wires through one of those flexible black tubes they sell at radioshack.
