a question for liverpool fans...what do really think of Kuyt?
Decent player when he wants to be.

But we need to get back to the 70s/80s Liverpool where "decent" wasn't good enough to make the squad.
Kuyt is awful, his hard work slightly masks it, much like Alan Smith when he came back from injury at United.

I don't think you will play the same way as the 70s/80s Liverpool until you change manager. Benitez builds functional, hard working sides, difficult to break down and good on the counter attack which seems to be suited to Europe but not the Premiership.

bang on. not enough of our offensive players are of the calibre needed week in week out in the prem.

Anyway.. couple hours to go.. 8)

if both teams actually had nothing to lose (ie. it was a game at the end of the season where positions have been decided) how would you describe it in your 'region' then?

nowt to do with regional differences you were just chattin shite.

it's a stupid saying anyway, as there is always something to lose in every game, although it may mean less to one side than another.

Most of it? Most of the first half, rest of it was fair game between the two and Liverpool pipped it as the score tells.

Unbearable. Best bit of play in the last ten years for nothing. Liverpool better hope the refs stay on their side all tournament cuz they aren't in the same league as the rest of the teams left.

It's slowly returning. Gonna be in a mood for days though. First thing I said after the screaming about Theo being the best player since Pele died down was 'I bet we can't even hold out 3 minutes.' Truly think we deserved it this season but what can you do. Wish it hadn't come down to ref decisions though just for once.
