To be fuckin completely honest.. I haven't the slightest clue what I am doing when it comes to music. I just make stuff and upload it to MySpace.
I think I put alot of stress on myself to make each track a banger, and it has sucked some of the fun out of it.
I don't think you're as inept as you think, I like the bassline on 'next one is always a herb'.

how to make healthy natural sounding kick drums, rather than them just sounding like layered samples (if that makes sense)
*could possibly do with more samples rather than low grade refills for this
and also learning to play more natural rythms for melodies

I need to get monitors. I heard a few of my bits on someone's monitors this weekend and they sound completely different to how I imagine them too, at least in terms of bass level.

if anyone uses FL i can provide help with it or ur stuff (like a beat u want to be club-fat, just send it over).
i make dub not because its simple and its the first time iv ever made a beat, but because its got its own aesthetic and technical angles to learn from so if help is neaded (mainly mastering or getting 'that' sound out of your beats....) then ask away.
