+100
it's been 4 days since the nyc show, and i'm still buzzin. if you're in the bay area, do yourself a favor and be front and center.
next level music.
Definitely next level bizness !!!!!
Out of the whole night I probably recognized 5 or so tracks.
Some of the best fucking music I've ever heard.
Pleasantly surprised with 1015. No asshole security like years past
Big it Miro and all !!!!!
Thanks

Those poles were jokes

Big up Miro for the 1015 love - those drink specials, ins & outs, and the smokeroom were the business.
Djunya got the night started by dropping some of that groovy business. Vibing crowd in the place - too bad so many regular bass lovers missed out! Quest and Silkie killed it - a good lesson in gangsta boogie music from the professors themselves. Love them for droppin some of that Purple Love. What a fun, lovely time!

this has been quite a week for SF! joe nice on friday, dizzee rascal + def jux wednesday, quest & silkie yesterday... all top notch musical evenings!
as for the crowd, mikey child put it aptly - "family vibes" up in the place. everyone was enjoying themselves immensely, even the djs! silkie danced up a storm while spinning, and quest was smiling widely the whole night. it was awesome to see everyone is such good spirits.
mikey - proper mafia bizniss in that suit!

Like I said on Groundscore:
damn that was beautiful!
That room was perfect, sound was good i felt so blessed to be amongst the best music family in the world. Each Dj played from the heart and played wonderful and amazing music.
I left 1015 folsom feeling inspired in the same way i used to feel inspired after seeing the old detroit, chicago, London and NY masters play.
Much love and respect to all who came out thursday.
All i can say is let's do it again .
Oh also
Some tunes of the night for me were:
Silkie - Purple Love - Be on the lookout for it and
that Crystal Waters remake they played amongst others
