I know someone who knocked a bottle of acid back once. They didnt suffer any lasting harm but they did, A: Eat half a playstation pad and B: Smash a lot of hospital equipment....

I read a report a few years back about a case where someone bought what they thought to be cocaine when it was actually LSD. They snorted 1000's of doses instantly, had to go to hospital, but they were also fine.

I think at that level of intake the brain must just shut down.

Also, capitalism definately ruins the mind. I want out...

I'm really glad they are looking into this again. Hopefully it might reverse the governments view on magic mushrooms.... doubt it though...

Each time I have taken mushrooms I have never once felt the need to have a repeat experience straight after
not the drug to do when you're in a dark place mentally or having a bit of a tough time.
all about castanade texts for info on psilocybin usage.
also worth checking that episode of Bruce Parry 'Tribe' where he takes the passage to manhood Iboga initiation. Compulsory for all members of the tribe.

Mr Hyde wrote: its just blurring reality. Thinking it actually answers any questions of life and the universe is just fooling yourself....
History would suggest otherwise

Mr Hyde wrote: So theories of evolution, medical advances, psychology, geology, chemistry, DNA, and other physics thories etc are not down to communication, hard work and inteligence but because people took mushrooms?
Nobody is stating that?
Mr Hyde wrote:....can see that they might open some different ways of thinking about things, especially for artistic and spiritual things but it isnt actually the effects of mushrooms that ever comes up with any advances as far as I know, perhaps encourages people to look into certain things when sobre, but its just skewing your senses....I might well be wrong tho, where in history have mushrooms answered questions about life and the universe other than giving someone a good trip and coming up with a new spiritual idea?
When has anything ever given concrete answers to life and the universe?
Psilocybin is just a catalyst

I have always felt better after tripping - paper or shrooms or micro dots....I feel like it resets the chemicals in my brain and I feel really calm for sometimes up to 2 weeks..

..but that doesn't mean that it isn't hardcore..

I think about my cousins and how sort of naturally immature they are..I wouldn't dare suggest they put anything in on their brains...and I wonder if I was just the same at their age..maybe I am feeling unnaturally parental towards them.

I would rather them get good at other things before seeking to waste themselves - even if it is just here and there...

Now pills and other drugs are a completely different story - I seriously hate 2CB and wouldn't feed it to me greatest enemy. Ketamine, does nothin but locks my head and makes me throw up...

The last time I tripped or took a pill was @97 - I have been clean for about 10 years now, barring the occasional puff.

I can tell you this for sure - being sober has not helped me to suceed at work, no matter how much I pick up...

Try this..I worked for Amazon.com for 5 years..

ok they come to you and say..hey we want you to be on the Harry Potter 7 roll out team - here is your security clearance..right

..so you go in and they are like - ok..we need you 10 people to move 300,000 books in 6 days - two days in and I'm thinking ok I've got security clearance AND a dick up my ass.

You start looking at your $11.60 and hour and doing the math on that screw..

That is $35,411 AN HOUR versus the ENTIRE CREW pulling just $116 for the labor...

..and now I have not 1 but 3 cases of Plantar Fasciitis in my left elbow and both feet..that is a type of tendoniitis caused by overuse.. could take up to 2 years to reverse, granted that I stop all use of those tendons.

GREAT. Just what you want to hear and what I want to talk about.

Reality.

I just got this is my email - fuck off every last one of "you"

https://o5ig4ms.securetransactionmanage ... ce=ilogins

...it should be titled how to skim money off the backs of people who are so desperate finacially that they are forced to do the bulk of your work for $11.60 an hour..

..but back to the topic at hand...

LSD. This one time...I thought someone had installed an amplifier in my car..I had the door open and was on the ground trying to find it under the seat..I really thought I would find one.

It was in my head.

dude... if you haven't played box-bitch at least once in your life then you have never struggled to keep food on the table. i did it, but it was my only option at the time.. and if you are like me then you do whatever it takes. sure it sucks, but its part of paying dues in this goods and service world we live in.

labor sucks, but its just a small part of the big suck we are all in.. white collar or blue.

After 80 doses of LSD (some clean, some strychnine laced),
it took me a loonnggg time to reintegrate reality
and other people suffered for it.
This despite being reasonably prepared
with TM and zazen meditation practice.
How the really young and reckless cope, I dunno.
