Dubstep is very unstrict, wich makes it one of the best genre for remixing tracks from a diverse variety of music.

I'd like to learn producing/remixing, just so I can remix some of these:

Pop tracks from old Madonna stuff, Depeche Mode, Gary Numan, New Order.

Hard experimental music like Swans, Electric Wizard, Throbbing Gristle, The Melvins.

Old alternative rock like the Doors and Velvet Underground.

Nintendo music ^^. Old mario tracks are awesome.

---

I'd actually REALLY like to make a twisted version of Get Down from the backstreet boys. Come on...tell me you wouldn't like to hear a fat distorted and pitched down voice telling you "GET DOWWWWWWNNNNN".

---

I actually really like Ayo Technology (Timberlake and 50 Cent) Dubstep Remix, even though I hate these two artists with a passion.

I was gonna have a bash at 187 Lockdowns - Gunman when I finally finish working on my first track! Im not a massive fan of remixes, but a good tune brought a little more up to date isnt always a bad thing :)

Haven't heard that, but did he really remix Klaxons? Why on earth wouldn't you remix the 90s original which is still a fairly simple trance tune, but doesn't sound like it was made by a bunch of stnuc?
 HA! yes, exacly.
