Most electronica ie. "IDM", DnB, Jungle, breaks
Stoner rock (Kyuss, Fu Manchu, Nebula)
Some hip hop

Actually, thinking about it, I hate it when people ask me this. It's too long to a list.

sorry Jub and anyone whose sensibilities I offended, I was the mug in question not anyone else

anyway I like most music in some form, but right now have been really appreciating time with no music to hear the world go round
You didnt offend me bruv, I found the reaction to your comment funny.

i try not to rule out anything unless it pisses me off.
recently though, i have mostly (apart from the obv) been enjoying:

various bossa nova classics such as One Note Samba and Agua de bebe

Delia Derbyshire - big recommendation here. protean electronica but very distinct.

the Residents - Duck Stab/Buster and Glen

Music from the T'boli heartland in the Phillippines (like minimal blocky gamelan)

the Audience (70s art rock, not the indie lot) - House on the Hill

Lee Perry - Cloak an Dagger

Raster Noton - Frequencies

Ethiopiques vol 4

music based on the scale of Maqam Rast (Marrocan Berber stuff, generally)

Newham Generals - really wish they'd get a move on

Spiritualized - Lazer Guided Melodies

and thisfrom the archives of BSR fm.

Honestly pretty much anything... i just like good music, as in music that is good, and i reckon there's some of that in every genre.

Peace

good stuff...

got about 30 bossa nova albums i've downloaded over the past couple of years (most of which are sadly deleted)
and I'm slowly getting into material from sub-Saharan Africa. the Ethopiques series rarely misses a beat.

Whereabouts in TX? I went to boarding school for year school year in Alvin. It's south of TX if you neverheard of it. Medium smallish town it was. :?
