Most electronica ie. "IDM", DnB, Jungle, breaks
Stoner rock (Kyuss, Fu Manchu, Nebula)
Some hip hop

Actually, thinking about it, I hate it when people ask me this. It's too long to a list.

BUT NO PSY-TRANCE!!!!! Or RnB. That shits whack.

Music from the T'boli heartland in the Phillippines (like minimal blocky gamelan)

Raster Noton - Frequencies

Ethiopiques vol 4

music based on the scale of Maqam Rast (Marrocan Berber stuff, generally)

Newham Generals - really wish they'd get a move on

Spiritualized - Lazer Guided Melodies

got about 30 bossa nova albums i've downloaded over the past couple of years (most of which are sadly deleted)
and I'm slowly getting into material from sub-Saharan Africa. the Ethopiques series rarely misses a beat.

Whereabouts in TX? I went to boarding school for year school year in Alvin. It's south of TX if you neverheard of it. Medium smallish town it was.
