I think James is playing 10pm to 12am, and then Headhunter is 12am to close. Really looking forward to tonight, my work day is going to drag until I'm out of here around 8. Already had about six people hit me up today to see if I was going, might get some new dubstep fans in the area with this event!

I might go to Quarry House with James & Jessi before his set, grab a burger and some beers. It's two blocks from the venue. Gave him three new-ish tracks, so if he likes any of them I'll get to hear how they hold up on a system.

And if any of you in this thread haven't met me before, introduce yourself tonight, will be nice to meet some new people.

Very true. I stopped throwing events in DC in 2002.

Weekends are the best bet for most electronic music events here, but it's very tough to find a good venue that is accessible by many, have good sound and willing to work with event promoters.

They don't like me showing up at work looking like a spastic, so it's at home. Going to Silver Spring from the office, so I have on a black button up w/ a green t-shirt on underneath.

Last night was crazy dope. Really nice to see this area getting the hell down to some dubstep. The sound system was great and Jukata and Headhunter both killed it ...
