I just really don't like that kind of effect on vocals. It's something similar on 'Calm Down' isn't it? I can cope with it on that because I like the vocals, but it would sound better without that effect for me.

Can someone educate me on what this autotuned business is about then? Anything like vocoders?

Listened to the original, and boy, talk about how Flying Lotus polished a turd- in the same way Burial took what to me is a bland vocal from a typical lullaby r&b track and injected the emotion into it in 'Archangel', he's managed to do something worthwhile with this.

Dont really feel that Fly Lo remix. To me it sounds like a half-ass job. He can do better.

But it's a more conventional track isn't it? He's not trying to come with the Flying Lotus, Samiyam-style quirkiness on this.

over in here in NYC there really isnt one person who doesnt LOVE this song. everywhere I turn that song has been shoved down my throat. pretty annoying track but in all honesty, this version could quite possibly be the best thing to happen to it. good to see FLy Lo try something new.

any Akira Yamaoka/Silent Hill fan, should be psyched about this. Very sweet sample.
