so with all the techniques that people have stated to finalize their tunes...

...are people doing it within the project before bouncing audio, or after it is bounced down to stereo WAV (in the same way a mastering engineer would work with artists audio)? does this matter?

Bit of 12Khz boost with UAD Pultec or Sonnox EQ.

Touch of Sonnox Inflator and about 3db of the Sonnox Limiter.

No difference, except you save CPU when you bounce. I do the last one.
