So why's he always commenting in his interviews that he's better than Aphex Twin and Beethoven, and wobble is the way forward?
Let's play the Sesame Street game:
Beethoven. Aphex Twin. Skream.
"One of these three does not belong,
one of these three is not the same,
one of these three is just plain wrong
can you guess his name?"

Roughly around 3 minutes. I think he even makes a reference to Chopin.

Definately feeling there is a backlash spreading towards certain artists and anyone who was there early doors will know this is the biggest contradiction of all.

On this interview
http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=BMY9NQgXyvQ skip to 1:40 and to me it looks like he doesn't like being called the "ambassader".
Maybe he does think that he is a genius but from what i see and hear i don't reckon he thinks that. Even if he does he has a right to feel that way ha!

No, but skip to 3:44 and he says he prefers to be called 'the pioneer and Kingpin of all music ever invented for the past 6000 years'.
You can't argue with hard evidence, for fucks sake.

Simplicity is a deception, and the best productions sound effortless.

You're just jealous because he's over-rated.

as in the street definition of "wicked"
dont wanna contradict a thing
plus that N-Type quote is MONSTER. lol.
this thread is stupid but the funny comments actually make it worth reading so the cosmos has balanced everything out once again. long live the cosmos and long live skream. matey who thinks he's overrated needs to learn to swim. studying his quotes in videos and taking everything as gospel is odd. Just check out his mother fuckin back catalouge. its immense.

It's not 'immense'. I bet he didn't even pass his Wobble GSCE in school.

Mate, i think you are watching a different video to me or something because at 3:44 he is talking about having a joint and listening back to his song to hear it from the listeners perspective!
Fair enough it's your view that you think he is over-rated, as it is my view that he is a genius but by saying he sees himself as a genius i can't see any proof.

i like both by the way.
also popular producers that get pissed when someone makes an unofficial bootleg of their track and places it on myspace..
when they at the same time didn't ask permission to the big reggae artists to use the acapellas on their biggest tunes..

Biggest contradiction in dubstep for me is that the scene is a giant sausage party. For such a moody sounding genre, where is the estrogen? Maybe it's just bromantic.
