As everyone has already said, no FL won't run on a mac unless it's an intel mac with windows loaded onto it.
If you're comfortable with using fruity loops, then you're more likely to find a cheap windows running machine than a cheap G3 or G4 mac, it's just that if you buy a mac instead then you can join in the arguements of "my penis is bigger because my computer looks pretty*"

I'm all for mac's, they are lovely machines to use and I have never had a problem with one, but the "elitists" approach to owning them is getting fucking stupid now.
Any time anyone coughs and it sounded like they might have mentioned something to do with an OS, the mac crew show up and shout about how much more amazing it is to own and use a mac than a PC.

You should be able to get a nice cheap laptop which runs windows, look into an operating system called "tinyxp" and then set about your business, and avoid letting it connect to the internet, it will only cause problems and distract your workflow!

I hope this helps, and just to echo other people's posts a little more, fuck off Q Steppa and WiREZ......you're only hating on the 360 and favouring the PS3 because you own a mac, and you think it automatically means you should hate everything microsoft.

Sorry to be a cock, but my arrogance tells me I have a point here.

I have a mac, it's great, and I use logic, also great. But there are some things fruity loops handles a lot better. And there are some things logic does better. If you'd used it more then a minute you would see that they are completely different programs, and treating Logic like a professional upgrade from the others is really being ignorant about it, especially since people used to think Logic was Pro Tools for kids.

Seeing as I used FL for 5 years before Logic I think I have used it more than a minute. I know both programs inside out and have not found one thing that 'FL handles better'. - Other than quickly stuttering audio...

And yeh that makes sense, let's all call an audio only DAW something better than logic... (admittedly Pro Tools is now much better, but you used past tense).

As for the PS3 thing, I was just stating a fact that people with shit machines are too defensive over them, so much so they're delirious that other machines are better.

Nice stereotyping, Although quite ironic due to the fact that people with good machines tend to mention the fact they have good machines over and over and refuse to let anyone forget how good they are and they should definately try to mention them in at least 3 topics every day anytime anyone mentions a machine.
