yeah i was gonna say about chunky..he is sick. none of this over the top chattin shit. I love the getdarker tv videos but sometimes the MC'ing is a bit much to handle like..can't even hear the drops properly :(

it all comes down to 1. whether the mc respects his place and lets the music do the talking when necessary, and 2. whether the man mixing his level puts him in his rightful place too.

unfortunately 90% of the time these factors result in the mc completely ruining the rave and causing every punter who knows what theyre talking about to wish he would shut up and fuck off.

I remember seeing Quest and Silkie a few months ago and one of the MC's ruined the set for me, it just didnt work and to top it all off he spat over that Anti Social vocal tune including the vocal itself, probably one of Silkie's not sure, the look on Quest's face was priceless.

i love a good host mc but if they are a shit mc that keeps trying to rhyme and drown out the mix and the choons which is what you are essentially listening to its BAAAADDD.... as long as mcs remember that they are there to hype the dj and they are not the person everyone has paid to see its all good... fuckin love most of the big dubstep mcs

Werd, i'd love to see Ghetto spit over some dubstep. But I live in the states, so I prob never will.

Crazy-D aint to bad
Check my Myspace link

Note: It does sound very noisy and hyped, but this is Audio from my last set at Sidewinder, which IS supposed to be like that lol

Anyway, Skepta, Dee n Foots, Flow Dan and Killa P all sound good pon Dubstep

Mcs are good when they get the crowd going. I use to hate Mcing at raves but as long as they don't chat all over the tunes and give space for the music to be heard I think they can be the essential pivot for a successful party.
