we oughtta let somebody with 2.5 start it off

i say we give somebody 48 hours to put something up before we just do it 3.0 style

ok since nobody will step up here's a loop: http://www.sendspace.com/file/8v1zqs

its just a crappy half step and a couple of bass sounds and i see no need to stay faithful to it but its just something to start us off.

tbh, i don't see why whoever shouldnt be able to fuck with anything posted at any given time. ideally the tune would splinter off in different directions

hopefully a naming convention will evolve that people can follow

Some basic tweaking + adding some reggae samples, should people want to take in that direction. :)

its messy. you should just make a mastering suit for each device and put the effects in there. that way u dont have a long list of patches for every device all at once, and u can jus click the dropdown button and view each devices tings when u wanna use em.

simple tings

Im working on it right now... cleaning it up, labeling things, making some arrangement changes and some small edits.

I gotta run, so I didn't have a chance to add new instruments/samples - but the file is cleaned up, some of the existing things were changed, and i've started to arrange it more like a track than just a loop.

here's a quick mess i did. some guitar chords and a bit of extra percussion.

http://www.sendspace.com/file/8mzvme

edit: why don't you use send/return fx. you have 4 slots for each mixer unit. i noticed a scream unit in pretty much each combinator patch. you can have a single scream unit as a return effect instead of one for every instrument track. on my shit machine this .rns file is already getting too big and hogs up my cpu like a bitch on extasy.

Sometimes you need the scream to be in a different position in your effect chain for different effects. Also one scream can sound very different to another. I'm sure you can do it in some cases though.
