I'm not talking about a style of music, I'm talking about a lack of production value. There's harder dubstep that is great. There are distance tunes that are great. I'm not openly bashing an entire style of music all at once, just a few remixes.
Bashing is bashing, as you yourself said and was quoted from a previous thread, if you don't like it don't listen to it, end of story.
I equate shit remixes with watching a woman being raped. You do nothing to stop it, you might as well be the rapist your damn self.

Piston wrote:Have you met Archimedes? The one with the black spots, you see? You remember Archimedes of Syracuse, eh? The king asks Archimedes to determine if a present he's received is actually solid gold. Unsolved problem at the time. It tortures the great Greek mathematician for weeks - insomnia haunts him and he twists and turns in his bed for nights on end. Finally, his equally exhausted wife - she's forced to share a bed with this genius - convinces him to take a bath to relax. While he's entering the tub, Archimedes notices the bath water rise. Displacement, a way to determine volume, and that's a way to determine density - weight over volume. And thus, Archimedes solves the problem. He screams "Eureka" and he is so overwhelmed he runs dripping naked through the streets to the king's palace to report his discovery

the one thing the original of blinded by the lights lacked was bass. nero gave it that bass. nero wins.

if its hurting the internet, before its hurting the radio stations and dancefloors, then don't think for a second that people can't see it for what it is. many people these days want the fasttrack into this sound, and rather than putting in the time to build an original signature style, they choose to create a stir by rubbishing up a classic to get their name out there. all of which is fine, as its just different pathways and perspectives, but one way gains you respect by the whole community, and the other way makes you look like a opportunist. if you're smart then you'd choose the former, because the latter is a fast rise, and then a quick fall.
