Losing family is very hard.
My aunt, who actually was my second mother (spent half of my youth at her place), died 2 years ago of cancer. I was a total mess.
Even tho I subconsciously erased memories of that period, I can still say with no doubt it was the hardest time of my very short life up till now.
All I can say is to stay strong, don't lose yourself. You got to remember that he's gone but you're still here, and he would have want you to live further.
That's the only advice someone can give you, since everybody has its own way of processing the loss.
