@Sparks_[Productions] - I'd change the LFO rate around 1:25 in the track, and maybe boost the bass up a little, maybe some eq, the presence of the bass is lost in the distortion in my opinion.
Like the drums a lot! keep it up.

@Goldorak - loving the build up to the bass drop, percussion and pads are spot on too! the bass line kind of reminds me of jakes! very impressed.
the only thing id change is the kick drum, kind of has a hollow (bongo) sound to it.
would deff like to play this out though, loving the baseline and glitchy sounds during the breaks.

@Globalbabylon - loving the purple vibes. vocal sample works great too. i really like what you've done percussion wise as well

more feedback to come.
loving everyones tunes though.

@benjamenC - that tune is pretty good mate - the bassline from 0.40 sounds a little muddy though try EQing the mids around 200Hz a bit to clear that up - also I recon with the style youre going for try working on hooks rather than just basslines - that's what the pro's like caspa, benga cookie monsta, trolley snatcha etc have!! Keep it up though bro its sounding good!

Thanks @redjuan, @globalbabylon & @a.paul for the feedback.

@benjaminC - track sounds good but the bass is to loud and muddy try EQing the lower frequencies down a bit.

@GRAYSKALE - track has potential decent drums and bass keep up the good work.

@tripwire22 - nice drums but lead seems to get tiring all the way through the track.

@ Arisoa - you seem to have the ideas mate just need to work on mixdown skills - fattening up the drums a tad, eqing here and there and adding in some delays and reverbs to fill the space in the mix - also you have an unconventional approach to song structure which is always nice , keeping it fresh - keep at it bro

@ grayscale - sounds good. the wobbles very middley, sounds too lp filtered to me. maybe thats what you're going for. also, theres not much other than the wobble and the drums (levels wise). good piece tho.

@sparks - cool, wobbble seems really syncopated, but mix wise pretty good. overall more compression maybe. but this is for works in progress i guess...

@ariosa - 1st one sounds good. maybe a bit more bass, feels like it wants some.

not dubstep again, but i value everyones opinion, and not sure what i want to do with it or leave it....

@ENZA: Good track man, real chill vibes, real uplifting. However, it lacks kick, beef that kick up some, maybe even a new sample? Nice clean bass too, keep this one in your "To Finish" pile.

Been working on this for a bit, loving the end mostly... If you can, turn this beast up as much as you can :)
Let know the +'s and -'s!

Hey all, I'm trying some stuff out. With this track I'm trying to get some kind of fusion between 2-step and Industrial. I always like to challenge myself to making "odd" beats. This one isn't for everybody, I suspect.

I'm not altogether that far, and I feel like I need some help with it. What kind of lead should I go for? It needs more variation definitely, for now it's just looping so you can feel the groove.

Any comments/criticisms are appreciated. :)

Cheers!

@ earth tremor - good track bro - you using the glitch plugin? I think what the song needs is a bit more melody - I know youre going for the industrial sound but if you cant find some dark ambient lead tones and then switch up the beat and add some funky half bars here and there to add to the 'odd' feel of it - sounds like youve done a decent job of FX and Mixing though - keep it up bro

Check out Mark 3 of my tune Crank Mk II - lol
