@Pete Miles: I really like the first half of that track, the vocals were clean and fit really nice, the bassline suited the song but i feel like it just didn't need to be a tear out song, a driving bassline would have been better IMO. Good work though

@Wirez, really feeling that garagy track liking the drums and vocals alot. The only thing i would say is the synthline/bassline sounds kinda straight out of massive. But apart from that its nice.

@Jaydot. Since alot of your tunes are tearout or LFO orientated, i would try broadening the synth so it sounds a little fatter. Nice drums and arrangement though.

Tune i knocked up today. Any criticism welcome :)

@brrz: Love the intro man, those sweeping bongos are nice. It's good for your first tune man, got some really good techniques in that song. But something which you might find helpful, When your doing wobble, don't just stick to have the bass going the same as the mid, you sort of limit yourself with what you can do with the bass. Have some underlying bass bits that are note higher, or have a rising pitch ect...

@ bRRRz: I'm loving the conga/bongo intro man. Goat sample is cool and original. But i think the contrast in space
between the intro and the drop is too big. The main bass and drums lack reverb imo. Bassline is basic but decent.
Good for a first tune.

@ Sirius: Not really into this type of music. Technically i think it's good. The vocal works very well.
Hats are a bit too upfront for my taste.

@ Mixster23: Sounds like work in progress, not finished.
The production value isn't very high, but the ideas are fine. The main bassline gets boring after a while. Work on more variation.
Watch your levels mate! Hats are too loud...

This is my *finished* track. Would love some feedback.

Your tune is pretty awesome. I particularly like the bassline and the snare man. burner!

@yzloykin - Nice track, production sounds great and I like the vocals at 1:28.

@TRaffikz - Again production is good, bassline is nasty in a good way I may add, drums are punchy which again I like very much.

@bRRRz Great try for your first tune, much better than my first tune. The intro with the bongos is great and I do enjoy the bassline although I'm not sure if you have got sub-bass in your track or not since I'm listening to it on speakers rather than my monitors.

# nonXero

That was something special! Nice drums, fx, sweet panning and especially I liked the mix of two massive genres!! The melody was actually quite lame.. too simple. But I liked the atmos and the whole feeling of the song. good job mate.. keep it going.

# TRaffikz

NICE BANJO!! cool vocals and vocal editing. nice bleeps - overall a excellent buildup/breakdown. Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet WOBBLES MAN!!! damn you really have come up with some good shit! I like it alot!!! The banjo was the best of all, and the banjo + wobble made me jizz.. seriously.
though I got annoyed by the crowdsound in the 2nd breakdown! but keeeeep your productions going! big ups.

# bRRRz

Cooooooool percs man! very nice. a bit boring build up... wobble was'nt too special imo. but very nice mixing and use of fx. tight drop... i Liked it! (I noticed you used glassbreak from fl studio, am I right? :P) somebody wrote it was your first production.. if right, you did a very good job. keep producing!

# Grace

not usually my taste of music. but I kinda thought track was cool. sweet subs, drums, percs and a nice violin. I liked the hats most of all :)

# EDN

haha woooow! dude you know for sure to make some cool edits! shit it was a long time ago i heard sucha cool drum edits!!! nice synth!! good wobblez... i liked the song mostly cause it seems like you are trying something variating and something a bit different. good job EDN, keep up!!

I linked this on my last page! I'd love some more feedback and take a listen to my other songs if you feel like it! cheeeeeers

This is dope. Obviously it needs some expansion, change up the drums, add a few more sounds or things that change the dynamics a bit, but I love the vibe. Not a whole lot of stuff like this on the forum, it's good to hear! Also, I'm personally not really into the snare,it just sounds a little too fake / plasticky for my tastes, but it doesn't really ruin it or anything.

Of course will return feedback for anybody who gives! Enjoy! Thanks for listening! :t:

This is crazy hot. I don't see how it's "future garage," it sounds like straight up garage to me, which is not a bad thing in the slightest. The only criticisms I really have:

- The intro sounds like it could work as a tune at a slower bpm, but it just feels kinda tacked on to the rest of the tune and doesn't really add anything and kinda stifles the progression a little bit. Nothing terrible, but it could be integrated into the tune better or replaced with something a little more suitable.

- I like the synths better when they're raw, when you start tweaking them and adding movement I feel like it actually doesn't go as well with the track.

- The hi-hats seem just a little too upfront in the mix at first listen, but this could be a) due to the compression, or b) complete bullshit, as I might think differently if I heard them turned down a little.

Way cool track though.

I dig this one too. What program are you using, out of curiosity? My only major criticism is that overall it sounds a little too clean and clinical, like it needs some mild distortion or saturation or something on a lot of the sounds. Also some of the sounds / edits don't sound as good as others (the orchestral stab near the end, some of the bolder/crazier edits). Overall it got my head nodding though, I dig it!

To all the people I just gave criticism to, keep in mind I only really tried to give constructive feedback. I didn't really intend for the posts to sound negative, but I chose those three tracks because I liked them a lot in the first place (not really into the heavy, syncopated, midrange-noise sound).

Also I figure I should post something of mine, since if you think my stuff blows, you can decide not to take my criticisms seriously. Feel free to listen or not listen.

Thanks a lot for the descriptive feedback mate!

Well Future Garage is more of a movement of the existing genre, a way to progress the sound and give it some new twists which I definitely think it included...

People quite often comment on my Hi-Hat levels haha, it is a preference not a mistake :P But thanks for the heads up all the same!

I'll leave some feedback on your new tracks on Soundcloud mate! :t:

Nicely intergrated vocal samples, nice bassline too. Pretty tight production IMO
