@Samkamblaam - Very different, nicely experimental. Enjoyed it quite a bit. I like the reverb on the snare or woodblock and the build half way is great. All over a good song.

@invaderzim - I've never been a fan of those kind of sounds, but it's okay. Needs a lot of work and though throughout though. Perhaps the riff needs sorting. And you should also try get some rolling high hats to give it flow. That will make it "seem" faster without actually increasing the tempo!

@Tylerblue - I'm known for my anti filth mentality and promoting deep Dubstep, but this is amazingly produced that I had to comment. Really well made, shows you know your production well. Good on you mate! Look forward to hearing more.

@Soyaman
Re: epic-ft-savox Sounds like it should be a song in Minecraft or something.. the bass/beat is nice but I'm not really feelin the higher frequency synth/melody personally. That's probably just a style preference though.
Re: good-times I think the background melody synth (not the bass) seems to be fighting to be heard behind the higher frequency bass and they're interfering with each other. It sounds like there's too much high frequencies together all at once and might sound better if they were separated or offset better... just a thought.. it might sound a bit cleaner in the end. *shrugs* -q-

@topmo3
Re: Honey Hush Like the sample in the beginning. The bass is awesome... Beat is okay *shrugs* seems to have a standard dusbtep/2-step beat.. maybe could use some offsets or something unique to make them stand out perhaps. *shrugs* The distorted synth that kicks in towards the end is okay but I don't think it makes the rest of the track better.. my thought was it was good but I dunno about that part...

Re: I ain't mad at ya - Feelin it! Nice track!! :4: It's kinda rare that I really like a track but I like the vibes and beat going on here.. very soulful which is my type of music I guess. Really well produced. A+ in my book :)

@Semihedonist like the ambience and atmosphere... the bass goes well with the track.. deep and dark! The beat is unique and I like the samples you used. Well produced! :D:

@HomeNoiseRecord I dunno about that piano/key work.. I like certain elements but other elements aren't working for me. It's an interesting blend (guitars, piano) but the beat really needs to be come out more imo... I can barely hear it behind the melody/synths and it doesn't have me movin to it. It sounds like you have a solid 2 step beat behind everything but it's hiding and not having much of an effect.
@wirez Will return some feedback for you on your Soundcloud :D: I feel greedy as you're always dropping me a comment lol
Hahaa.. no worries bro.. thanks for the feedback! I toned down and beefed up the reesey bass and added more of a beat throughout the track and made some other minor changes.. hopefully it sounds better now...been working on this track overkill lately... =)
@paravrais @NonXero - Don't like a lot of the sound design in this i'm afraid and that dubstep growl thing is too loud in the mix. Percs are real nice and so are the samples and atmosphere. Personally I would take the midrange growls down and make them real low key. A bit more lower midrange and less high end too. Like old DMZ style basslines cos at the moment the dubstep and dub parts of the track are fighting against each other. You want em to be making the sweet peen to the poon styles ya get me? Overall the track *could* be really good but I feel like your letting it down at the moment!
Thanks for the fb! I toned down the growl synth a bit and beefed it up with some lower freq bass...tried to even things out in the mix... hopefully they're making sweet peen to the poon now! About went insane trying to master it and played the track a few hundred times to pick it a part and fine tune it.. :hugegrin:

Anyhow, this is a new track I'm workin on... I recorded all the percussion samples myself and the vocal sample is my girlfriend... lemme know ya think...

Duke-lovin the vibe of the tune, downloaded it enjoyin it as we speak
Djseizure- I tensed when i saw piano (i have a thing against pianos in dubstep, they rarely turn out anything other then mixed poorly and cheesy). But i really like your tune. thought the sub bass line was meh so-so at best. no real rhythm to it
nonXero-thought the second tune never really went any where- sorry mate wasn't feelin it
Soundcloud
heres my tune. was considering to a couple labels. but not really sure. idk i struggle to be objective sometimes.

@ dj seizure - Interesting song. I think maybe some changes would do it good, but it doesn't need a classic dubstep song structure, just more variety. Songs like this make me wish I was listening through monitors and not headphones. I liked it.

@ nonXero - I think you should take the advice of what whyrez said on your soundcloud. It sounds a little whispy to me. But the rest is real nice.
- The second songs got good samples but the lead is boring and repetitive.

@ juan - Everything was perfect up until 3:20. Just opinion but maybe the last drop should go there?

@ Juan - loved it, i'm a fan of imogen heap so i was really feeling this one.

@ Seizure - loved the piano sample, not much of a deep dubstep fan though but I liked it.

Galbm- I know I should shun you for not posting feedback, but I went ahead and took a listen. You went from ravish, chill, to brostep, and then reversed it. You have some good ideas in the track, though imho I think you could have executed a bit better. I don't like the chipmunk sound maybe make it more natural lol but I do think you are headed in the right direction.

thekeeftheef- Honestly...I really didn't like it at first but as I kept listening I it grows on you quite a bit :hugegrin: it has a sort of industrial atmosphere, and those are some pretty nice synths up stairs at 1:20 xD

juan- really nice track man. no complaints at all :corndance:

RightOnTime27- I really like the feel to this track its pretty strange in a good way:)

I'm really really really hoping this mix turned out alright(it's been giving me hell), This is my first completed track so I'm pretty excited I know it's really nothing to brag about but you guys know how exciting it is when you are new lol.
let me know what you think thanks dsf

@juan
Good tune, liked it alot. Felt the mastering could use a little touch up. As someone else said at 3:02 that felt really outa place before the drop. But overall good tune man!

@CoreyGoesRawr
The drop was a little abrupt. Should have carried it on another 4 bars. The mastering could use some work, sounded like alot of stuff was conflicting. Sounds like the synthesis is too distorted. I liked that synth you got going in the back, super trippy haha.

@TheKeepTheef
Not sure where your drop started. Mastering could use work. Liked the tune though how its really industrial twords the end.

@djseizre
Not really my style, but nice production!

@nonxero
Nice tune. Love the keys in the background, felt like the sub was overpowering the mids a little though. Overall i liked the track! You got a really cool style man!

@rightontime27
very "colorful" :P felt like alot of the synths were outa place and didn't really give a vibe due to that reason. Liked the samples and keys used!

Here's my 2 latest tracks. Would appreciate your thoughts on them! :)

@kazadubstep - first track, really nice mixdown. cool congas/bongos. overall good drums. not sure about the reverb in the wobble. would have done with less or even without it at all. otherwise really decent work, would rinse this! :ukking: as for the second track, again i hear a bit of unnecessary reverb in the bass, or is it dimension expander? really good productionwise! nothing bad to say about this one! good work.

@CoreyGoesRawr - interesting sound. a bit surprising the positive vibe on those bells/vibes. don't worry about the mix bruv, everything sounds neatly balanced out. the snare sounds huge, a bit on the 80's side of things though. the progression is a bit hard to follow. nicely constructed track but not really my cup of tea. the bumpy boinky synth sounds a bit out of place. keep workin matey!

@nonxero - thanks for the feedback mate :smurf: your track sounds pretty decent, the dubby chord is such a treat. nice samples that fit well in the track. the drums are well dubby brah! the overall dub feelin is doing it for the track i tell ya. all in all really nice!

here's two new tracks from myself.

kaza- well done man, wouldn't change a thing, it flows so well.

corey- just seems like working on leveling everything out, i know how it is. the intro doesn't flow with me for some reason and coming up to the drop there is so much sound it muddy but overall it is good i would be proud of it to man goodjob

seizure- the percussion is really really nice. the build was intense man, im listenin to it as i write this. seems like the vocals on the lets try again are a Little to high, just a tick, but seems like you got good control over it. nice choice on the taylor swift aha

rightontime- to many damn horns man. the rise and fall effect gets old quick. your build is really long, and really high pitched but the drop suits it.

nonxero- love it man absolutely love it. would love to have a copy of that didnt see if it was available for download the bass and hits are perfect. props

been throwing this around a couple days, not 100% happy with it but i never am so its still a step forward.

@ kazadubstep - only heard that jungle preview, but damn very nice, i love the build up

@ kowalski - sick intro and sick drop, i thought the buzz sounded a lil funny between 1:11 and 1:18 ish

I redid a few things, still kind of suck at mastering/eqing (just tried to make a pocket for everything)

Debaser1 - Wow man nice track super fat lots of room in the mix i love it. you wanna possibly give up a 320 for me to play at shows??

Iko Rush- Quality warm wobbles you got and i like how you keep the amibent pads, it gives a calming feel to the track

Kaza - Holy shit brotha fat wobbles diggin the jungle vibes. wow just a great track fat sub too. possibly a 320 to playout??

Check out my newest "we are your friends" REMIX i would love some feedback. maybe even a comment on my soundcloud!!!

onkin hyvää!!! Haha, I love the first one, excellent dub and the sub is great, but I think I would enjoy it even more if the sub was on a lower tone so its deeper, overall great tune, big up!!

@oprs
Thats some high tech shit man. Love the screamy wobbles and those robotic sounds is porn! BIG UP!!!

@thekeeftheef
Sounds very messy soundwise, like those background synths and vocals fits in well. The wobble is the only thing I would complain about, too much yoy yay for my taste, keep it up

my new tune of an old tune I made
