A few dodgy moments but thought that was a fantastic episode. Never thought Gus/Walt would die, but the Jesse/Walt thing was necessary to have Jesse realise what Gus is really like.

The car bit was silly I suppose but still some fantastic build-up at the end.

gus was acting, though. gus had the kid poisoned, and knew jesse couldnt say to gus "gus i know you took the poison that i was trying to kill you with and gave it to a child", and gus knows this. imo jesse has gus fooled atm

Oh sweet, 'cause I was wary about Gus having known about the poison anyway. It just didn't make a lot of sense, even with the cameras. It's not like Jesse constantly takes it out and plays with it. Sooo, who knows.

And usually, even when he's lying, when Gus experiences strong emotions, his face is easy to read. It was unreadable in the hospital while talking to Jesse.

I wondered about the plant, it was clear it was meant to indicate something or other. The poison was Ricin (sp) though no? Though I suppose Jesse wouldn't have been told if it turned out to be something different, or maybe it's made from a plant anyway?

Yeah, totally don't get how that episode could disappoint. As long as they don't just keep building and building to another cliffhanger at the end of the series.

There are threads on The Onion's AV Club site about Walt possibly poisoning Brock, but the timeline doesn't add up. He kisses his family goodbye, then shacks up inside until Jesse comes over. How could he have poisoned him? Saul wouldn't do it, especially since Walt has no money to pay him now. As for Mike, I could see him siding with Jesse once he returns (he's still recovering down in Mexico - it hasn't been a week). Seeing as he has a granddaughter poisoning an innocent child could be the thing that turns him against Gus. Overall though, I've learned that trying to guess what will happen on this show is a fruitless endeavor. I can't believe next week is the final episode of the season! Now I have to wait another year for it to come back...

Yeah, this too. Walt's explanation was just too farfetched and while I think Walt acted really... unlike someone who is unguilty when he told Jesse his side of the story, Walt's timeline doesn't add-up either if he did it.
