- Mod Envelope to Osc Pitch (Fast Decay)
- Low Pass Filter Envelope
Then it's just BandPass wobble with medium resonance, slight delay and reverb.

Ok so here's what I've come up with. I know it's not exactly the same but I'm pretty sure I have the overall deal. The 2 sounds I used for the synth in question could be better gelled together but I didn't have the energy. Anyways, let me know if you think it's close enough.
Ok so what it sounds like to me is that it's a piano sample layered with one of those old school rave ambient chord sounds. To Make the sound I just used the "color" wavetable in massive. I put the wavetable position to about 1:00. I turned it to monophonic and turned up the portamento a bit. The only effect I gave it was reverb set to 100% wet with a small room size.Perej wrote:mate thats pretty damn close! Nice one! Sounds rich and nice.cmgoodman1226 wrote:Perej wrote:k sorry.

How'd you get that then? Samples or synth?

Can anyone help me out on this?Dankstep wrote:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vyV--ZZVlWc
I'm trying to get a sound like the one thats at around .56. You hear the first bass sound at the drop and then theres like a vibratoey high pitched sound that he uses and is playing some notes with it. How would I achieve such a sound? I use Massive

This basically ^ But some other things to add would be some multiband distortion (only a bit, just some added crunch, overdrive preferably), and adding 2-3 different layers will help all with different settings on there delay, detune, and reverb and then one REALLY important thing, is that you add a lot of notes for more unison and harmony, this will make the sound very fat, and then route them all to one bus I and I would stereo widen it and maybe sound goodizer/sausage fattener.StreetLurkin wrote:if you are meaning the chords,
detuned saw waves, reverb, delay
possibly with a filter envelope set so they open up over time.
hope that helps
^^^ for sure, but always be careful with the Sausage Fattener, it can go from nice to nasty in one twitch of the mouse!Sechah wrote:djfeloe wrote:How does one create uplifting synths such as those used by Xilent on this track??![]()

Add whitenoise for some "airyness". Without the noise, it will sound.. dullerStreetLurkin wrote:^^^ for sure, but always be careful with the Sausage Fattener, it can go from nice to nasty in one twitch of the mouse!Sechah wrote:djfeloe wrote:How does one create uplifting synths such as those used by Xilent on this track??![]()
