haha it would make sense since i have been doing the exact opposite of that to no avail. i always thought the larger buffers meant the program had more "space" to do calculations, i'm probably waaaay off.

I think it`s actually larger buffers that reduce the artifacts.
Small buffers are for cards that can handle the extra throughput

Hey, does anyone know if there's a way to copy audio files without also copying the automation points? Every time I copy and paste something on an track with automation it turns into a mess of points that take so long to get rid of.

What's the best method to add swing to my hats if I'm working with audio instead of midi?

Nudge them around when you're laying them out.
Sorry if that's not helpful haha that's what I do though, and is the only way I know of.

You can adjust the quantize values and apply a shuffle by using a fraction.
It will shift the selected midi instances.

So change the grid to like 1/32T and arrange some off beat stuff? What about velocity, would I just simply make a volume automation? Made a recent switch from FL Studio where I get that easy swing bar on the step sequencer and never gave how it works much thought ;3

Fuck the grid! Click the little magnet in the menu bar to turn snapping off and slide those hats around yourself. Just throw every second hit off until they swing. Volume automation helps too, you can edit the volume right on the sample by moving your cursor to the top of the clip and dragging that little red bar down. Once again, start off with just changing every second hit, then experiment from there.

You can just select individual beats and set the quantize value to a different amount, it will shift the selected beats to the shuffled grid.

What I do is copy patches.. then paste patches into fresh units within another file. Maybe there is a faster way? But this doesn't seem too bad for me. I ctrl+c and ctrl+v and ctrl+x a lot and hold ctrl click so that alone speeds up my worflow ten fold.

What I did was right click on the highlighted part(s) and go to Item Processing -> Quantize Item positions to grid (I actually hotkey'd this to Alt+Q)

yes you can, don`t right click and render
go file-render
