Wow, 40 years old.
On a side note, I met Kool Herc when he played Sanky's a few years ago and the majority of the people I talked to that night didn't actually have a clue who he was, I shed a tear for Hip-Hop.

He's often said in interviews that he thinks he probably did the worst out of HipHop compared to everyone else that made moves off the back of those first parties - he was only ever really interested in getting crowds moving.

Swear this happens every year but I get a random MF DOOM song thrown on by random and then I spend the next X amount of weeks re listening to everything hes made and reordering my favorites. Dangerdoom has shot up the ranks, King Geedorah aswell.
