I always thought it was sunderland who supposedly brought the red and white stripes but there you go.
Athletic's first game in the new san mames today, which i suppose is a good thing for them but still makes me sad i'll never manage to get to the old one

.
Amd wub you should go to Rayo, apparently their fans are lots of fun.

Not a bad idea, tickets would be cheaper. Will put it on the list of things to do after I've been to an away fixture at Sevilla

Just had a look at prices, to get a season ticket where I was sat on Saturday is 405€ for league, with an additional 105€ to upgrade to 'full season' (cup games, Europe etc), or approx £430. Not fucking bad at all IMO.

While Pepe plays in Spain I'm not seeing anyone else wrest the title of dirtiest player in the league

I should be at some point. Set myself the objective of visiting every state and it's respective capital city whilst I'm here

Plus you can bring in outside food/drink and smoke in the stands. Lad sat behind me had a zoot on the go for most of the second half

Sunderland is very underrated as a place- much preferred it to Newcastle. Roker with that beach and lighthouse and all the fish and chip shops is probably better than scarborough or brid. Just needs a decent PR campaign imo.
Don't really like the football team tho

Yeah he' like the only player whos been as good there as everywhere else in his career, but then again i spose hanging around the penalty area and prodding them in from 2 yards doesn't really change.
Most players who go to sunderland mystifyingly become really shit for the time they play ther, even if they were ripping up the league before they bought them. Then, after they sell them for about 1/4 of what they paid, they magically become good again.

oh sorry my bad Diego

- totally agree then. Real is as bad though, if not worse given their offensive abilities that they could decide to rely on instead of playing dirty.
