Dont necessarily agree or disagree with this, but building on it, I think a lot of times people over-analyze music. It's great to be really deep into the music, but when it gets to the point where you're becoming so overly intellectual about the music that you're missing the overall experience and emotion that the track possesses, then you're going too far.

I, by the way, am very guilty of doing that.

And dfd, I know it's really vague, but for me a "vibe" just describes that uncapturable idea behind the music that rings the same in everyone's ears but is processed differently and holds different meaning to everyone's hearts and minds.
i'm definitely guilty of doing this especially on some threads recently  sorry everyone
i don't mean literally i don't know what "vibes" means. i just mean i hear the same phrases over and over used to describe people's responses to music and it's just so empty of significance, said for the sake of it. it's one thing having the overwritten, overwrought nonsense that music writers have to come out with to try and overcome the difficulty in speaking about music, but general talking about the music goes to the complete opposite end. it's like newspeak. a handful of clichés rehashed over and over for every situation. it's not really saying anything at all.
you mean like reviews on music sites like Resident Advisor, FACT and Pitchhfork when they use all these ludicrous metaphors to describe how music sounds? cause they definitely annoy me lol

Ummm... i'm actually fascinated by this phenomenon now eltirkillion (?) brought it to our attentions... tell us how this transition happened? How old is your friend and what the hell happened?

That's pretty good tbf, i wouldn't buy any merch or tune into every episode, i'm not 3 years old ffs, but i've seen a couple episodes and it's pretty captivating, there isn't really any way to explain it though. Also, there was a stop motion program on cbbc called Ooglies where they stuck googly eyes to watermelons and grapes and those ring biscuits you used to get at school parties, that was fucking siiiick and i actually used to make a note of watching it every day after college.

he's just annoying as fuck now. he's 18. at first he watched it in a mostly tongue-in-cheek, ironic sort of way, then he just gradually became more and more obsessed about the show, and now it's practically all he talks about. i know he'll get over it eventually/soon, but for the past few months, he cant go a couple sentences without a ponies reference

If you ever go on minecraft forumes, some guy called engie_ninja loves to derail threads and make people mad with mlp pictures and his rage against people.

Problem I have is that "bronies" make such a big deal. Firstly don't call yourself a brony. It sounds fucking stupid. I don't make lame ass puns for every tv show that I like. Secondly calling yourself that is defining you as a person. No-one should try and define what sort of person they are through what tv show they are a fan of. Finally making a point of everything being related to it is annoying.Seriously see these people who never shut up about it. No-one else gives a fuck about it. It's painful to see a grown ass man insisting on comparing their lives to that of a cartoon horse.

Why of all shows does it happen with this? I have no shame in admitting that I still watch shows I watched as a kid (thundercats, xmen etc.) But this is a new incarnation of a show for litlte girls. I don't see where the appeal is let alone a reason to become an annoying cult of stnuc.

Also Protip: Having a my little pony profile picture on facebook is a good way of making sure that no-one will ever consider fucking you ever again or inviting you to a party/night out/drink.

Beatboxing is good for a quick bit of showing off.

However actually making a record with it on or doing a whoke live show is fucking shit.

in an ideal world, beatboxing should only be 5-10 minute sets
