ok while everyone is on this lovefest for coki.

i buy almost no dubstep records anymore, a few but very little. i bought this album for 3 tracks, intergalactic, old hope and serious. this sound got me into dubstep int he first place way back . the three other tunes are the sound that got me out of it. Funny that Coki had a big part into turning me on to this music and then turning me off to it.

the biggest piss off was edits of old hope and serious on a single side @33. oh and the art work is terrible, a hawk or an eagle coming out of a full moon over some graffiti? laughable. i havnt even taken it out of the shrinkwrap to bother looking at the rest.

Well your missing out then because Old Hope and Serious still sounds fantastic. I'm no fan of the art work (would prefer all the DMZ releases were stripped down like their lables bu it's clearly an owl by the way.

Do you reckon this will get a repress? Coki said on GetDarker then only 500 were pressed

its just that they are great songs, and ones many of us have been waiting years (!) to get on vinyl. i want nice loud 45 cuts, not a 33 side with both cuts. why not stick animal and robotnik on 1 side at 33? no ones been waiting 5 years for those to come out. i was just dissapointed in that choice.

and yeah its an owl, my bad. but i still dont care for it. wasnt big on the mala lp art either. id much rather see that dmz logo spinning around.

Mala's artwork was killer. I agree about Cokis but Return II Space was spot on in the artwork department.

And you can still play the tunes...don't see the problem.

Actually people have been waiting years for Robotnik. First heared it on Mary Anne Hobb's N-Type special in 06 or 07? The one where he dropped soundguy is my target at the same time.

Think mine has arrived today! Stuck at bloody work though.

Utter Wasteman Post.
Been waiting for robotnik for 3 years.
The krux of this post is.... you still bought the triple pack didnt you? no-one made you do it even though it was common knowledge those two tunes were on one side @33rpm, and the album art is visable to everyone.

I've been waiting for Robotnik longer than any other track on the LP.

Laughing at the amount of complaining at the release, yet you still bought it :W:

should have realized that saying something even remotely negative would upset the fanboys, -w- how dare i question the decision making that went into this release. i didnt complain abot the songs, the price, never said i regretted buying it. just that i was disappointed in some of the choices. you guys are so sensitive

still you dont read well. no one has been waiting over 5 years for animal or robotnik. 3 years is not 5 years is it? and are you saying that you prefer to have old hope and serious on a single sided @ 33. you wouldnt prefer them on single sides too?

of course id rather have them on 33 than not at all and yes i was aware that they were on the same side, but i cant be a littel disappointed in that choice?

Ive been a fan of DMZ for like 6 years or so . I own every vinyl release that Loe, mala and coki have put out. all of them. dmz 001, 002 the white label releases, remixes. all of them. i aint some johhny come lately, but w/o question coki's output over the last few years (spongebob on) is by far the least enjoyable of the the three for me.

what's the reason that we cant have a reasonable discussion on why they made the choices they did? why those two tunes on one side and not two others? why not use the classic "DMZ" labelling on mala's and coki's releases? especially considering they are indivdually #'d dmz releases. doesnt anyone else think using anything resembling graffiti to sell an "urban" album is a bit cliche?

say anything remotely critical and its a "wasteman" post. but saying " i love robotnik" is a quality post. you guys are priceless.
