Got nothing really to do with the bassline. It's because it's sped up so the halftime feel is closer to a hiphop beat's tempo and it's the rhithym of the drums, it's a pretty standard hip hop beat.

If you're having trouble, listen to some gangstarr or mobb deep and take notes. Both of them have really standard hip hop drum beats for most of their tracks.

this is just another 100bpm song and he's just making the bass go with the drums. teknian koan sound and Reso and I have done 100bpm songs with a hip hop feel. it's all about the shuffle o the drums
Here's the track, at around 34 seconds you'll here the vocal stuttering effect, then the last stutter the sample kind of drags down as if the track is being stopped
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Tapestop effect in blue glitch. Or even manually pitch gliding it

oy!
the sound i need help with is more on the minimal side of things but since I always got very helpful advice on this forum i thought I'd ask here. It's by french producer gesaffelstein and I know that it probably involves some sort of detuning and a square/saw. Other than that I'm clueless.
Example (starts at 1:01; you'll know which one I mean when you hear it ):
much love!

Can someone tell me a good way to produce the type of envelope FMF uses on his synth+noise here? Comes in at 00:14.
Some of my ideas were:
-Draw in the amplitude envelope by hand
-Automate the LFO amount to drop off after the first duck
-Sidechain a silent instrument?
Thanks!

I would def draw in the amplitude by hand. Just seems much easier than sidechaining + u could make much more crazy shit when drawing

Going through an Aphex Twin compulsion in the last few days. I love the drums in this Tuss song and I've always wondered about making my own IDM drums (not exact same obviously that'd just be stupid). I think he must use ReCycle or cuts up breaks and layers them with other more synthetic samples but every time i've tried it sounds shite. Anyone got any tips?

The song is here:
Now I could be wrong here, and there's defenitly some synthetic hits thrown in here and there, but it just sounds like a funk break, like an actual funk break, with real drums.

Here at 1:09 to 1:12, also 1:44 to 1:46, also 3:33 to 3:36 ... such a reece mid bassline going up.. or so.
Spent a half day and no result pls help
PS: also maybe some tips about these 2 notes saw dirty bass at 3:51 , 4:03 , 4:10 ... because it is too nasty for even distorted saw wave. #also tried it the rest of the day
#feed me - strange behaviour

I know another Skrillex sound. But this is a Bare Noize sound really. So I'm way new to dubstep, but not new to making music on Ableton. So I'm using Ableton and I have Massive, and I'm trying to recreate this sound but I can't. It's that high pitched sound in Bare Noize's remix of Kill Everybody. It's the first note of the drop. Is it two synths? A bass and a scream? Is it just a scream filter on a bass? Is it something completely different? Anyway here it is. The sound is at about 0:55 - 0:56 and continues thoughout.

A reese with going up in pitch, with a vibrato and some resampling is the only thing I can think of.
Feed Me has some serious sound design skillz.
