I'm just dropping in here to say I'm terribly disappointed in Party Politics in general: there is no longer any integrity amongst politicians here. Now you say, has that not always been the case? I say: no.
I notice the difference already, and I've only been voting for around 10 years. But here, we used to have clear cut parties based on ideologies. It was rather simple and everyone voted for a party that was closest to his/her ideologies :
'Extreme' Left (sometimes referred to as Neo-Communists): Labour Party (deep red)
Left Environmentalists : Green Party (green)
Socialist Left : Social Party (red)
-
Conservative Party : Christian Democrats (orange)
Liberal Conservatives : Liberals (blue)
(Flemish) Nationalists : Yellow
LDD : right wing Liberalists (light blue)
Extreme Right : Brown
It was so simple: clear cut ideologies to match party. What we see now is that politics has become a consumer good. We have people switching parties, they'll run for whomever gives them a chance (a chance to fill their pockets). Everybody is adjusting their program as not to lose votes. I remember a time when the Socialists accepted to be in opposition because economy was booming and their was growth all around. Now everybody adjusts their program/ideology just to be in office with more people. What happened to ideologists. I'm voting for the communists this time around. I've always voted Socialist because I don't believe Communism works, but they are the only party that hasn't compromised and defends for what it stands for.
Amazing. It turns out Mitt Romney went to the private school that Papa Doc from 8 Mile went to - Cranbrook. All's left is for Barry to flip it on him in the TV debate.
From now on Mitt is Papa Doc and the Republicans are the Free World.
NOW EVERYBODY FROM THE 313, THROW UP YOUR MIDDLE FINGERS TO THE GOP!

Romney Tells Wealthy Donors That 47% Of Americans Are Lazy Moochers
Same guy in April 11, 2012:
“Is there anyone who believes that dividing America and trying to find some group to tax more is somehow going to create more jobs?”
gothamist.com wrote:AP reporter Kasie Hunt, who is covering the Romney campaign, Tweeted, "Half of the people who pay no income taxes are elderly Americans," with a link to this Tax Policy Center infographic. And Obama campaign manager Jim Messina said, "It’s hard to serve as president for all Americans when you’ve disdainfully written off half the nation."
Romney also offered nuggets like, "Had [my father] been born of Mexican parents, I'd have a better shot of winning this*," "I have inherited nothing," and "There is a perception, 'Oh, we were born with a silver spoon, he never had to earn anything and so forth.' Frankly, I was born with a silver spoon, which is the greatest gift you can have: which is to get born in America."
* "My dad, as you probably, know was the governor of Michigan and was the head of a car company. But he was born in Mexico ... and, uh, had he been born of, uh, Mexican parents, I'd have a better shot at winning this," Romney said. "But he was unfortunately born to Americans living in Mexico.... I mean I say that jokingly, but it would be helpful to be Latino."

Wow. Seems like Mittenz is melting down all over the place and picking up speed in the process.
When we look back on this in a few years, this last week is going to become known as the week Obama won the election.

I know, I said that tongue-in-cheek.
Seriously, Romney is a grade-A sociopath, and these statements should confirm that. If any of you guys are thinking about voting for him, don't.
Also, I'm probably voting for Jill Stein. I <3 SPUSA and all, but she just seems far more organized and viable than Alexander does.
