Been meaning to check that since you mentioned it a few weeks ago. Barely finding time to keep up with Arsenal matches at the moment, so I haven't watched any rasslin' in months. :u:

I really can't recommend it enough. They do an event maybe every 6 weeks at most, same venue, tickets always sell out, crowd is always proper into it and vocal. Their 10th anniversary show was just incredible;

Plus members of their roster not currently involved in matches come over and do sporadic colour commentary, so you have Excalibur, Kevin Steen, Chuck Taylor, Drke Younger et al usually on the mic at least once during each event.

I've got a couple of hours this evening which are going to be filled with PWG... obviously I'm going to hold you personally responsible for my enjoyment, wub.

Undertaker was 1/66 to win haha.

Remember Undertaker turning up to one of Lesnars UFC fights and them having a bit of a kerfuffle, clearly staged for this.

Wonder how much Undertaker got paid for that fight, shit loads I'd imagine.

There is a lot of talk about it online. He clearly wasn't himself during the match, looked proper gassed, didn't go up for old school, had trouble with the final tombstone to Brock.

Think they've done an amazing job with it, proper pulling the rug out from underneath everyone watching. One of the comments I saw earlier summed it up;
We've had the Attitude Era. We've had the PG Era. Now we're into the Reality era
Between the Undertaker swerve that literally no-one saw coming, and Bryan's ascension, I'm inclined to agree.

Reckon CM Punk is quietly kicking himself somewhere. Not only did he not take the streak, but the indie-guy-made-it role has now fallen to Bryan. Reckon being balls deep in AJ probably makes up for it though :lol:

No matter how smarky people think they are about it, there are still little swerves like this that have people crying out. Forgetting that the whole thing is pantomime to begin with :lol:

Only result I'm a bit unsure about was
[+]
Wyatt not going over Cena. If it wasn't a clean finish, felt there was so much emphasis on the new generation (Shield, Bryan, Cesaro) that it would've made more sense for Wyatt to beat Cena, then a rematch at ER makes more sense, Cena having to take it to 'the next level' to get rid of Wyatt etc.

Bullshit. Taker lost because that was the finish. If he was injured early on, they would've worked with Brock tapping out to Hells Gate or something for a quick finish.

All of this.

I'm a little bit disappointed he didn't just retire on 22-0 tbh... I liked the idea that there was some sort of supernatural reason that 'Taker couldn't be beaten at WM, but on the other hand they'd essentially been building up a swerve for the best part of 25 years... and I've never seen a crowd reaction like it. However many tens of thousands of people fully marking out live; I didn't know that was even still possible. BRAVO! The actual match was pretty average, but it was always going to be about the end and they played it perfectly, even down to the looks on Heyman and Lesnars faces... they looked as shocked as us. It was definitely the planned ending... if Taker had picked up an injury they could've ended it on the second Hells Gate or the Tombstone and nobody would've batted an eyelid.
[+]
Superbly sculpted... even down to sewing enough Batista seeds that you thought any of them could've taken the title. Trips and Bryan managed to put on a nicely grueling-looking PG match and the Undertaker shock had the entire crowd begging for a happy ending. Really, really great booking.
Great WM overall, I thought. Best for years. I watched with the lady who'd never seen a pro wrestling show before and even she was kind of impressed (she fell asleep before the end and her first words this morning were "Did Daniel win??" :lol:). I skipped the Divas, 6 man tag and half of the Battle Royal
[+] Spoiler
(Kofi should have been given the win for services to battle royals)
but everything I watched was spot on and incredibly engaging given that they kept it largely PG... didn't feel like it was missing a MITB/TLC/Other Extreme Vehicle at all.
