Was visiting a town really far in land to get some matches, been playing for about 12 hours with this character, 4 in this session, there were only 4 people in the entire server... and two of them happened to find and shoot me

i managed to pussy out and escape before i died and fixed myself up, but now i have that flipping annoying throbbing, blurred visual shit, gay.

Are matches really that hard to find? I manage to get them with about the same frequency as the hunting knife...
On a similar note, even with the matches, I haven't really found any need to use them. People keep going on about how brutal the temp system is, but I've only ever dropped to about 36 and always been able to bring it back up to 42 with a few minutes of crouch-running.

Yeah i reckon matches are essential to be honest. Hunting knife and matches and youre off. Without them its just so hard to get your blood back up! (unless youre playing with a mate)

Been following this thread. Finally snapped, it's on the download now! What server do you people play on? Really looking forward to checking this out with you lot!!
I've been fucking about on the free version and gotta say the game is really REALLY hard. Gonna enjoy taking time to get good at this.

Any that are open! It's pretty hard to find a consistent server to play on... impossible i would say. Still, can be easily arranged to meet up in skype.

Got this the other day. Spent about 10 hours on it non stop
Teamwork is key. I managed to amass a crew of 4 friendlies by helping people out (blood transfusions, etc), then we trekked and fought our way to the NW airfield over about a 4 hour period. Nearly there, we ran in to a massive zombie attack and got separated. I managed to find safety and a huge arsenal in some barracks (I now know these are the NW airfield 'loot' barracks) where I heard another fight in the distance approaching. I get ready for a battle, then this crew of about 6 guys rock up with a good 80 zombies on them. I spent about 10 minutes saving/helping these guys (only a few of them had ammo) while they stocked up on loot, then after I'd wiped out the zombies for them, one of the guys shot me in the head with no warning and robbed all my shit.
My advice would be: fuck anyone who you can't communicate with, be it on Skype or in the chat window.
On that note, please feel free to add me.

It's a pretty sick game but I do remember why I uninstalled Arma 2. I can't help but think this game would be better on the S.T.A.L.K.E.R map/engine!

Fixed up two quads/ATVs
Did a frontflip in one
Crashed both and died each time

Definitely considering getting this when I've got a new computer, looks really good considering it's an alpha mod. One questions though, have they sorted out the glitchy zombies yet? When I've seen gameplay videos it seems really annoying and a pain in the arse to shoot them.
