I'm very curious about the pad/melody that comes in at 10:33 on Rough Sleeper, it sounds like it could be a looped part of a video game soundtrack.

The opening pads of Rough Sleeper sound A LOT like the chords that play when you've defeated a colossus in Shadow Of The Colossus, when the statue breaks?

Havent listened to these yet, not had the right moment. But can anyone tell me why they have a problem with the tunes being made up of different parts of many tunes? Loads of you chatting shit about that. Can I get one justifiable reason why its wrong? Because it doesnt fit with what music normally does? And then complain that its formulaic??

Yeah pretty much I guess. On review I think it was wolfs comment I picked up on the most. Just the "didnt like it, felt like a load of sketches thrown together". I just think if thats how he wants to do things, then to do anything else would be lame.

I was seriously thinking this the other day as well. In fact, I had it typed down when I posted the bit about a fragment of Truant resembling Slowdive's Souvlaki Space Station. I also put in the Olive tune (original though) but left it out in the end!

The only reason I can think of is that it makes the tracks less DJ friendly.

Maybe coz the jarring change in context is unsettling to some? I happen to like it. There's a certain flow to it.

Loving these tunes more and more with each listen, they definitely grow on you. Was the same with Kindred for me.

Last 4 minutes are beyond amazing just like wasp's but different. I feel the 80's like a jean claude van dam training scene or the confusion moment in bloodsport, the sample feels like this to me. Mad tunes. Still dont dig the light surrounding you part, mostly the way it's harmonized will give some time again. Still waiting for my cd and wax after 1 week. Fuck montreal.
