i felt the vocal chops and the wannabe blue notey rhodes vibe was the baity part - im just having a laugh over the fact that styles like these that combine two things often just divide taste.

he's a good producer - has that approach where every track has a lot personality and little surprises going for it - but imo it always falls between two chairs - dnb edits at a lower tempo with 'neuro' bass. there's that one huarache track that succeeded in doing that imo http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MsKAV3VN0pk&feature=kp

but mostly it's just a dnb sound with the energy of the tempo removed, which is ok -it's just weird how difficulkt it is to pull off.
