this. Inga Copeland is playing in Zurich tonight but I have to get this assignment done by 8am. there's a dubexmachina on saturday but it's the first time in three weeks I get to spend some qualitytime with my "girlfriend" (our relationship is technically still on hold, but things seem much brighter than a month ago) so I'll be missing out on that one. on monday I'm off to Vietnam for three weeks, missing Deadbeat feat. Tikiman, Kollektiv Turmstrasse (bit on the bait side but still), my own night, DJ Shadow, J:Kenzo, Youngsta (two different dates) and a couple of others...

however, relationship & vacation > club nights so I'm not complaining.

to your relationship.

it is. thanks to you, gaz (I think) and ultra I'm working on my techno knowledge. maybe I'll even play a set once she enjoys. our relationship would definitely be (even) better off if she was more into broken beat stuff; I very much enjoy going to techno raves with her, if she'd enjoyed dubstep, drum'n'bass, etc. we'd have more opportunities to spend good times together. it's a bit difficult for me to be so heavily invested in all this and knowing she can't enjoy any of it. the amount I spend on record digging, setting up nights and honing my mixing / selection skills (although I'd consider myself a decent dubstep dj by now) would be much more satisfying knowing she'll enjoy the results.
