$22k in the right hands can do amazing things.
I'm partial as I'm friends with John, the koan sound boys, asa, etc and have seen the dramatic quality change that having legit studio access provides. These folks aren't really producing tunes strictly with VST's like their peers.
And it's not like he's some biter coming along wanting funding to make an album that sounds like some other random bro to make them millions blah blah blah. He has his own distinct sound in the dubstep/dancefloor arena but has over the years done the Mars album for free and Colours both of which were just his exploration of sound that a lot of people dug.
As stated on the site its really more him crowdsourcing the ability to circumvent the politics and limitations of modern music and instead letting his fucked up brain go apeshit for a bit and hopefully make something memorable.
As far as the part about reviewing tunes I can see how some people would think its arrogant sounding, but having managed the dude for many years leading up to his popular breakthrough, the amount of people asking him to check out tunes was enormous.... and given he is literally one of maybe a half-dozen producers I've worked with whose tunes were delivered spot on quality, and required little to no mastering, he has a lot to offer producers who may be seeking advice.
Anywho, dude deserves any and all the support he gets.

We dont even pay for electricity, so I have NO idea why anyone would bother to flick the mains switch off.
Well got a massive fucking note for it, for the future and now that the chilles cooked from pretty much this time yesterday, till X? time last night, then again from 8pm till now it tastes amazing

I dread to think what your cakes look like when you've finished cooking them at 250C

For 5 seconds I thought there were hoverboards. There aren't hoverboards, just shoddy CGI.

not a fan of eno or meditating. plus my mind's in hyper mode atm so wouldn't work anyway. took 1/6 of the sleeping aid i started taking recently. but by the looks of it, i'll probably have to pay a visit to a specialist. really need a prescription for something, my insomnia's gradually worsening
