90% of the headphones get broken because the union between the cable and the jack get forced and it don´t get the contact right, and normally it start with one ear not working

We live with adverts, logos and packets bombarding us with information which we keep at the front of our mind so raising awareness for something important is just an attempt at playing the same game but with a positive end result instead of just consumerism.

Everyone is already aware of cancer. People's attention is not going to cure it. If a picture of a girl with no make up on is what it takes for you to decide to donate to cancer awareness then fair play i guess. I don't really see what adverts have got to do with anything.

People are already aware of walkers crisps but if they stopped advertising and kettle chips continued then there would be a fall in walkers sales. It's like advertising because we already know about products just like we know about charities and advertising campaigns result in increase in sales/donations. Look at how much charities spend on publicity, that money could go straight to the cause but without the publicity, the donations would most likely fall because peoples attention would be drawn to the causes which are more readily in your face. No one is suggesting that it will cure cancer or that supporting this campaign means you wouldn't donate unless this happened, it's just another publicity move which harms no one and gets people talking about the charity.
