NEVER EVER CHANGE THE SAMPLINGRATE IN ABLETON LIVE WITH YOUR SPEAKERS SWITCHED ON!

i just had that moment when 1million tons of adrenalin rushes through your brain. your heart beats at about 200bpm and your ears get numb.

and you have no idea how to stop that horrible, horrible loud clipping noise.

my meter said 80dbfs.

yes. dbfs.

ears are ringing now. and i fucking hope, that speakers didn't blow.

What the what.. I do that in Pro Tools all the time. It gives a tiny pop, if that.
What meter btw? It's weird that it displays a level higher than the maximum of the scale
it's related to.

indeed... it also spat out completely random numbers in the ''clippings'' section. i think it just didn't understand what just happened. lol

not sure why it happened. after coming down of this shock i checked out what happened exactly, turned off the speakers and did the same thing again. i saw, that just in one return channel the volume exploded. in that return channel was a lexicon reverb. so maybe the plugin couldn't handle it.

Even more evident in the front-end side of things: quality of posting is abysmally low. Wobbles, sigbowls, butterman, and their other alt accounts seem to be the end of every single thread. This place is just not fun anymore. Almost every topic just turns to shit instantly in snh. General is still taken over by bots, and tbf, production has always been properly wack and remains the same.

Conversation here used to be fairly normal, now its just wobbles talking to himself and trying to push people's buttons b2b butterman typing incoherent verses into erry thread b2b ehbes still fucking likes bean boots. This place is doomed.

Article about the consequences of a company (Apple) having 'too much money'. It's an interesting situation, not one that comes about too often I'd imagine..

maybe you're being sarcastic but tbh I'd say that its a pretty ubiquitous problem and largely the reason why the world today looks the way it does. it's the natural consequence of a system where capital accumulates more capital. Apple is probably the most extreme case, but in general, wealthy individuals and firms have way more than they know what to do with. I mean roughly 80 people control half of all the wealth in the world. If that's not "too much", I don't want to know what is
