The wind is so bad it knocked off half the power at work today. My half is the building still powered

RSD on Saturday, loads of people going, VIVEK/Special Request etc playing.
I cant get anyone to swap my shift at work, cant take it off and because everyone knows I want it off I cant pull a sicke.
Could have been ANY sat or sun for the whole month, they could have put me on the bankholidays, ANYTHING. But no.
