oh my god my missus just got awarded one of the most hotly contested funding places in academia: masters + 3 year PHD in nuero-imaging related stuff, fees paid for by the general medical council, including getting paid 10-15k p.a. while she is doing it, fucking nuuuuuuuuuts, only one place in the damn country!

most importantly she can start paying a fair 50/50 split of the rent now she doesnt have to save!!
