@oscarhenson - nice track and it's a decent mix - can't say i'm a huge fan of the bassline at the end though - sounds to bubbley for the track i recon something more subby with the same pattern and melody would sound way cooler - also (can't say I practise what I preach) switch up the percussion a bit cause it's carrying your song maybe switch up the tempo towards the end give the song a nice climactic effect - nice one anyway

Hey everyone! I'm still a total noob, but would love some feedback nonetheless! The track is just over 2 minutes long, so I'd appreciate your time and criticism. Thanks!

Thanks! I got the same reaction from a few people already so yeah, no more acid synths, that one was just random and maybe I was high or something, who knows... Any thoughts about the other, new one?

@a.paul - really digging this bro - considering it's a "really rough" mix it sounds better than most of my "complete" mixes - lol - I think nightmare is the right fucking title though - gave me an image of a samurai or something walking through a hall full of people just slashing them all up - recon you definately need to beef that snare up though - give it some proper punch and power will add a whole new dimension to the track - also don't forget to give a bit of love to others who've posted and give a bit of feedback - it's gotta be a two way street to work

sorry to be a dick but the point is to give feedback before posting your tracks.. people won't be particularly keen on commenting on yours if you dont bother to comment on others

I love the intro, and the beat without a kick is pretty interesting never actually thought of trying that ...

If i'm honest i think the piano melody that starts at about 0:12 would sound better down an octave... but thats just me :) The thing that always gets me with tracks ive made is how to finish them, yknow in a creative way..

Pretty new or not that's a pretty nice preview. The best thing to do with this tune now is to sort out the wobble, what i mean is you know the synth you are using for with wobble? well create two instances of the wobble and keep the one you have as it is and the new one you have cloned concentrate on making it sound really low and mean to the point where it vibrates your desk. And one last thing try to make the wobbles faster :)

I have commented on so many peoples songs in the last two months, and have gotten shit for feedback most of the time...thought i'd post "will return all feedback"... versus commenting on 8 posts and only one of them actually returning the favor... it just seems to make more sense than what you're suggesting... no need to be a dick man!

definately a bit of a different style... i like the breaky feel a lot... The climbing synth is good at the beginning but I feel like the wobble comes in a little too strong, try bringing it in a little more subtly or at an earlier or later beat. Nice drums, you do the sound design for those?

I think it's pretty damn good for a preview.... I agree with skifer about making another instance of the wobble, just to add some variation... or maybe just to layer and make the synth thicker.
