..than which age are we living in (potentially - as it has not definitvely been established)
- and what is threatening to take the title away...

..and why

...and why would it fail to take
the plastic age

nope...

The question is in regards to metals...

That's an interesting answer though - are we going to have to add another layer of material technologies
in order to understand the age? - I'd say so...yeah

..they want a thousand 5 for that....

your gonna need 2 waxes at $ for material - they'll cast the claws for $ plus the sterling at $ - thats $...
$ for the chain give or take..the feather clasp is $ plus the mechanism...$

so - total material cost will be $ - now labor...that's the question

rule minimially - is to double the cost automatically - so you are at $$$ bare minimum - actual cost

$$$ still sounds like alot to me - for an ultra simple feather necklace...

That cat is trying to rub my foot and is making a mess of what I'm trying to show...

I might make a mobile - although the backbones would look super cool as a collar piece..

You wanna hear the story of the bones...

Down at the end of my street they had a dog that they kept chained outside all the time...
It had an igloo and food and all that - but he was just - always stuck there outside - even in winter...

and I thought about stealing him a bunch of times...

but that would be wrong...

and then one day - he was just gone.

Then about a month or so ago I was exploring the edge of the stream down there with my little cousin...
and we discovered the bones thrown sort of at the edge of some brush...

I don't really know if it's him but I like to think that it is..

i was originally going to say the lithium age but idk, plastic just seemed so fitting even though it wasn't a metal.

I don't think lithium is ubiquitous enough to represent the entire age...

Oh and from that angle - I suppose gold has a scientific answer as well - as to why it has value...

This thread has been reminding me of one of those rave culture symposiums that Kode 9 did recently...

I was watching the podcast...

and they were talking about how - Our generation is "being forced" to accept a cottage culture...return to primitivism
because upward mobility has stalled...

and they were comparing it to stagnation and regurgitation in electronic music during the past 10 years...
The Death of Rave or whatever...

depression - lowering of standards because up or forward is not really there anymore..

very interesting - mentally fertile stuff they were talking about...

I'll try to find the link...

...the shock of the old...

You thought we were moving into the future...
and then the illusion stopped and you slam back into the shackles...

..of constant and impudent capitalism...
