Critique needed please!
Started this a week ago and am liking the vibe. Not my usual style, kinda fell in to it. Bit more laid back/atmospheric.
Very rough mix and arrangement. About 2mins worth so far.
Thanks!

@ Resktwo - Is that a vengeance kick? sounds cool the whole track is sounding pretty atmospheric I like it, I think the arpeggio thing should be a little higher in the mix, what did you use for the bass if you don't mind me asking it sounds really good.
@ PK - yeah I agree with the mix down I'm not even running my monitors with a sub and my rooms shaking, nice work
@ Connection - This is sounding pretty dark, the vocals seem fitting, melodic at the same time I like it
This is the newest update of my track, its got some good feedback so far but I want to know where to take it from here. Not really done this sorta style before: -

@ Lowpass - The track starts great, but there is something just not right about that bass. It doesn't seem to flow right..
Everything else sounds tight; I love the use of reverb and choice of sounds/samples.....
Yet i feel the track doesn't lead anywhere, it just seems to repeat itself... You should change the sub bass or add something new after one of the break downs, like a new melody working over the piano... something which really picks the track up.
This is my attempt...
unmixed/unfinished...

this tune is dope. Two things I noticed.
1. The drums get lost a bit under the synth. Could be brough up a lil more.
2. The way the build up was going I was expecting some serious sub sub sub sub-a-sub. Especially with the gunfiya that was getting let off. Sub-a-sub would be nice, ya know?
But I felt it otherwise. Props.

New thing I'm working on:
http://dl.getdropbox.com/u/518773/01%20 ... 0Ghost.mp3
Kinda a cross between industrial and dubstep.
Still needs and ending, but im pretty happy with the sounds. Also could probably use some more arrangement work and more drum variations.
Any ideas on ways to end it?

@ knobGoblin a little abrasive for my ears but has good flow!
feelin the flute thing (or what eva it is) you got goin on
@ lowpass - agree with viralcode, nicely done but just needs that lead noise on top, everyting else is very well done. sub is all good.

@fuzz_2k
this is really nice man.... it flows really well, you should have a clean break down with only the lead melody or something and no drums to keep the listener interested etc..
what do you produce with?

this is fucking heavy!!!! loving the industrial feel. You should end it with all of the sounds fading out and just finish with the flute and high hats/closed hats...

Based on the minute I heard...yes you should finish it. I'm feeling the drums in that one. I like the minimal feel to it as well...would like to hear what else you were thinking of doing with that beat.
