I have a serious question:
Lets say I have an auto clip that controls delay rate and now I want the same auto clip to control delay feedback, so that delay rate and feedback are controlled by same amount. I can of course just create another clip for feedback and draw the same shape as the delay rate clip has but I wonder if there is a copy/paste method.
I tried copying the clip, making it unique and then assigning it to delay rate value but no luck.
He who answers is a good man!

Set up a peak controller with peak volume to 50%. Set both knobs to be controlled by the peak controller (don't remove conflicts) then draw the automation on the peak base knob. Just tried it then. Never used it before but seems to work

interesting. it probably works and its a decent solution but still seems like a workaround. i guess i`ll use this technique when the need arises. thanks!

^ unnecessary.
For whatever second parameter you want to automate, just go to link to controller (either by right clicking or tools>last tweaked), in the middle drop down, internal controllers, select the automation clip you want to control it. Done and done.
Make sure remove conflicts is unchecked, ie the light is out.

looks like I`m the most annoying/active member on this thread lately...
Recently I dl myself a whole lot of free plugins and I wonder if there is a way you can group the plugins so that when you called the list to choose the plugin you want you could see them sorted in groups/submenu`s, like reverb`s, delay`s and distortions all separate. It would make things a whole lot cleaner and tidier.

Only been asking for this for years. Their solution... the plugin picker. Get with it, B.
If you have a mouse with a clickable scrollwheel, just click the scroll wheel when your mouse is over the background of fruity, and you'll get the plugin picker. This is a visual representation of all your plugins. Underneath this is a database. You can alter the database. 4:23 am and don't feel like typing it out right now, but eminently searchable. Makes everything SO SO SOS OSSOSOOS OSOSOOSOSOOS much easier. When I click to put an fx plugin into the mixer, my entire screen is filled with plugins, like my entire hd 22" monitor is filled with lists of plugins, shit is mad, I can't find anything. Boom plugin picker, little pictures of all your plugins, you can create your own categories, put whatever you want to in each category, in multiple categories.

Anyone have any maximus tips? I'm reasonably new to it and pretty much know what i'm doing but some really basic things still bother me.
Do people use it on every tune? Or is it more a use-when-required-not-as-a-crutch type thing.
And Yeah any other random tips appreciated because I almost certainly guarantee I don't know them yet. Cheers

i dont know about the pads, but i think you can only use them in FPC...and supposedly theres a button you press that routes the pads in the order that you press them.
for knobs and faders and such, just right click a parameter and hit "Link to Controller" then move the knob/fader you want it to be controlled by.

I had a quick question about automation.
I'm trying to make a notch filter sweep across a 4 bar loop, but the sweep speed is limited by the BPM of the loop. Is there a way to make my automation move faster than the BPM of what it's trying to automate? If that makes sense

Ya after rereading that, and actually trying whatever it was I thought I wanted to happen, I've realized that what I was thinking doesn't really work the way it sounded it my head

open the fpc, open the preset "empty", drag all of your samples to pads one through 12, (the top row of the fpc should be empty, now go to the first pad in the fpc, (bottom left pad), go to the top right of the fpc where it says midi note, click that, a little window should pop up, on the left you will see "map pads for entire bank", now after you click that, hit your pads 1 through 12 on your mpk, (bottom left anf go to the right, now next row up..etc) now all of your pads should be linked exactly to the pads in the fpc, go to top left of the fpc window, click the little triangle arrow thing, save preset as.... now whenever you open that preset your pads should be linked, for better workflow, just make a empty fpc with your pads linked already, so you can just drag samples and go..

im gonna have a hard time typing this out but here goes, so say you have a pad and you automate the cutoff to go all the way down over the legnth of 2 bars or so. now say i only wanted that in the intro or something and want to use the pad normally in the rest of the song, i always find myself going into the event editor and just setting it to "0", not affected, cause the previous automation fucked with it and then left it at the value, its just annyoing. i know this is normal or whatever, but when im automating the rate of a lfo in the event editor for a specific pattern, it leaves it at that value when its done.
