Honest Jons shipped one 12" to me in a box with like, 4 sheets of card in there as well, for about £1.50. Fair play.

Thanks Wub! Keep meaning to pick up some of Wayfarers stuff on record, his stuff has a very distinct sound.
Mate was playing a mix by Seven in the car on the way to Bristol and a few tunes came in that I thought were wayfarer, turns out they were.

Deep House Raver Distraught to Learn Disclosure Didn’t Invent House Music
25 year old mother of one, Christy Adetola, was in a stable condition after learning the news that shook her Ivory Tower to it’s very foundations. Christy, who has been regular face on the deep house raving scene for almost 12 months, now accepts that the Lawrence brothers from Surrey did not invent the recent house explosion that has taken over the UK high streets, chain pubs and beyond.
Christy said, ”I see myself as a proper clubber and Disclosure meant everything to me. I used to buzz listening to Rihanna and N-Dubz 12 months ago, but after ‘Latch’ there was no going back. I thought that the Disclosure boys invented a sound that not only took over my life, but also my wardrobe and the way I acted. I still wore loads of make up, but stopped wearing dresses and started going to deep house raves dressed like an extra from a TLC video.”
“I even stopped glassing other girls in pubs after I starting dabbing Mandy and doing bare Ket. It was all for the love of house. I even learnt how to do the shuffle to that Julian Bashmore track and bought a wicked bumbag. It was nice to be there at what I thought was the very beginning of the house music scene, and now this. I’m absolutely devo-ed.”

Haha wunderground is so good. The one someone linked today about the "Tech house dj plays the same Hi hat and snare for 6 hours, nobody notices" was pretty good.

NSFW!!!!!!!!!garethom wrote:Ex-wife of The Road writer Cormac McCarthy pulled silver handgun from her genitals during argument with boyfriend over space aliens
For those that don't wanna click a mail link:
fucking hell-Jennifer McCarthy, 48, is the most recent ex-wife of Pulitzer Prize winning novelist Cormac McCarthy, with whom she has one child
- She is then alleged to have performed a sex act with a gun before pointing it at her boyfriend's head
- A police deputy arrested McCarthy after responding to reports of a disturbance at the couple's home in Santa Fe, New Mexico
- She was charged with aggravated assault and released on $5,000 bail
According to a lurid police report filed in the local Magistrate Court, Jennifer McCarthy’s newest beau claimed the couple had been arguing about space aliens and using the gun as a sex toy.
He said McCarthy left the couple's home on Aventura Road in Santa Fe following the row but then returned, changed into her lingerie, before performing a sex act with the gun.
He claims she then asked: 'Who is crazy, you or me?' before taking the gun and pointed it at his head.![]()

Russians are most definitely the people I am most prejudice against. I have met/spoken to very few of them but I still have a very strong opinion of them - hard, mental fuckers. You know, i've tried to look into their culture and way of life but everything I find just says 'we are hard, mental fuckers'. How much can I be blamed for this when I grew up during the cold war?
Re: things that have made you happy today
I grew up in the same era, but it's true. They're hard, mental fuckers. Their national pass times all involve being a hard, mental fucker. Putin's pretty much made himself King by getting photographed with his top off doing hard, mental fucker activities like wrestling wild animals and shooting weapons that mortals wouldn't even be able to lift. I'm sure there must be soft Russians out there, but maybe they all get put into the ballet or sent to Siberia. Actually, last time I saw a ballet the male lead was Russian and he looked fucking psychonails.Laszlo wrote:Russians are most definitely the people I am most prejudice against. Any thoughts on the Winter Olympics being held in Russia this year?
I have images of athletes being taken hostage by the Russian mafia to bankroll future drug transactions.

Hopefully they'll just force all the skiers to compete shirtless and carrying a snow leopard to sort the men from the boys.Electric_Head wrote:Any thoughts on the Winter Olympics being held in Russia this year?

There should be shots of vodka before each event as well.

sending off some tunes to get cut this week

They should do this at every Olympics. It seemed like such a wasted opportunity watching the Closing Ceremony of the London games to have all these elite athletes in a stadium getting drunk together and then making them watch the Spice Girls... they should've scrapped the 'entertainment' and just got the pole vaulting shit out.Electric_Head wrote:I'm liking your way of thinking.magma wrote:Hopefully they'll just force all the skiers to compete shirtless and carrying a snow leopard to sort the men from the boys.Electric_Head wrote:Any thoughts on the Winter Olympics being held in Russia this year?
