he's made it pretty clear how he went from dubstep to whats being released on swamp81.

its simple... it brings people in the sameway dubstep did pre 06-07.... no real rules, just ideas.

listening to the recent rinse podcasts i don't completely get the swamp backlash either. granted i think the ridiculous hype and attention it gets is a bit unwarranted (and detracts from a lot of quality house and techno around that the scene ignores a lot of the time - that pisses me off) but most of the tunes are still good imo and the podcasts are really fun (chunky!).

although i think they should maybe widen the roster up and the styles they release a bit more again - remember when folk like skream, ramadanman and addison groove used to release on it?

really the only swamp release i enjoy is Falty DL
